Sorry resurrecting this, but someone got any idea why my gear360 (2017) doesn't even show a wifi connection or Bluetooth one? I tried on a galaxy s8 - stock play store app, tried on ios stock app, and tried the mod app on my s20fe, but the problem is that the camera does not generate any wifi network or Bluetooth; if it is creating the network, it's not showing on any version of the app or even in the phone's wifi/BT menu.

(Firmware was updated using this thread instructions but the problem persisted)

You have to hold Menu button for 2 seconds, to enable pairing, then you can cycle by pressing Menu button again (Connect to IOS means via wifi, Connect to Android means bluetooth) and click Record button to actually start the bluetooth/wifi of the device.

Hi, i just want to provide an alternative if any of the apk does not work for you (didn't work for me on a xiaomi K40 Pro). I updated ottokiksmaler mod and my mod can be found at https://github.com/niluss/gear360_gallery_mod. You connect via wifi to the device and a link on a browser will show the gallery of files within the Gear 360. It has 360 viewer within the browser (works with chrome with opengl glsl 3). It offers download and also delete. No stitching is done for the downloaded file thou.

I know that. But, when I "turn on" pairing, no network is created. It didn't work on Android, ios and street view pairing mode. The camera even beeps a regular sound when pairing on ios mode, but doesn't show any new network on my iPhone.

When I start to view available wifi, it kinda takes a while to show. But if it really does not show after waiting, then yeah it seems like a problem.

This used to work for my Samsung S20 5G Android 12 about a year ago, but no longer does. Broke out my old LG G5 and it still works. I think one of the TMobile Samsung updates messed it up.

Hi everyone, I recently received a Gear 360 2017 with R210GLU0ARB2 firmware that I immediately reinstalled because I had some doubts that it was corrupt. I tried with this app to connect it with my POCO F4 GT (MIUI 13 A12), everything works but I can't open gallery and camera to see the Gear in real time, as soon as I connect to the WiFi it gets stuck on " Loading". Is there any way I can fix it?

P.S While I am using the official app on an iPhone 7 running iOS 15.7 and everything works smoothly and I am not seeing any limitations, however I would like to use it on my main smartphone

Hi I tried your mod and all the functions work, but I didn't understand if there is a possibility to see in live what the Gear sees. I tried with Opera and Chrome on my smartphone but I can't see anything...

There is no live preview unfortunately. I don't really have knowledge in Tizen, and what I did is limited to html and ThreeJS and based on what the original mod had.

I tried to check the Quinny899's apk's source too, but there's just too much code, got overwhelmed and don't know where to look.

I tried on my son's phone recently, a redmi note 10 pro, and it doesn't also show the 360 view even thou he has updated chrome, and it does have opengl 3.2. The devices I have tested that worked where Android 12's, 2 custom roms and MIUI 13, I am not sure if it mattered. I will still have to check.

Luckily I have an iPhone 7 with which I can use the original application and it works 100%, even if there are bugs sometimes. Now I just have to remove the scratch on a lens and I don't know how do

I bought some years ago a gear 360 2016 and i never get time to get more to understand why i cannot connect wit the phone with it. Finally I got time... but cannot. Mai I ask. On my camera is the C200GLU0AQK1. I don't know wich versión. I was thinking maybe to change to C200GLU0APE4_160519_1848_REV00_user.bin. how do you think is it possible? It will work?
Mh problem is like almost for everybody here... the phone is connecting yo the camera but I cannot manage from any app... even in gearmode or with street view. Thanks in advance

You flashed a 2017 model firmware on a 2016 model device. You've bricked it, sorry. No known solution to that.

Hi all, i have a 2017 version gear360 which i just pulled out the drawer and wanted to use again but it appears i can no longer use it as i have a Samsung s22 ultra now and the app is not supported. i tried the modded apk and could get the app started and connected to the camera but once the camera connects the app crashes. then everytime i open it after it just stops working. i can't seem to find much info and the entire web just points me back here.
software version according to the camera settings/about/ software is R210GLU0ARB2
the camera works as it should just cant use it as no software or apps
any help appreciated

I know this thread is quite old, but when I updated my phone to Android 13 it broke. The 360 manager app sees the phone, connects, but then crashes, when trying to start the app it continues to crash. Any ideas? This is with on a Samsung Note 20 Ultra, Android 13, Samsung Gear 360 (2017), 1.4.00.4-FW Gear 360 Manager app, and R210GLU0ARB2 firmware. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
