[MOD] Remap Search Button to Camera

Here's a small .zip file that will remap your search button to open Camera.apk
Flash the .zip in recovery. There is also a .zip to revert to stock as well. Enjoy!

Its working most of the time but sometimes the camera comes up but its just a black screen and sometimes it says Camera failed. All in all it works most of the time. Nice work!

Yeah I just tried it about twenty times in a row and no blank screen. Wonder what the deal is? Camera in fact opens quicker remapped to search IMO.

I don't get blank screen but sometimes it hangs at the camera screen and will eventually say Camera Failed

I get the camera failed error/black screen about every other time I start hit search, kind of causes a momentary phone freeze. Thanks for your work on this though, its an awesome idea.

its weird man, ive been pressing it all day and it loads every time, sorry maybe if you got a second some time you can connect phone to adb and run a logcat while hitting the button so we can see what the problem is

Same, mine works like a charm. No lockups or blackscreens at all

Any chance you could post the edited file you used? Cause i regualrly use my search button-i dont like having a search widget on my home screen when there's a button for it...
