The wakelock issue appears to be fixed for me with the update to 8.1.15 (even before with 8.1.14), knock on wood.

Yes 8.1.15 works fine. 8.1.18 i must try.

You have flashed an incorrect file. You must to flash the correct file of xposed for your model, if not, you must flash your rom again or restore a nandroid.

Flashed, and battery drain is still there. In fact, it has improved the battery percentage.
How is that even possible?

I modded framework-res.apk as suggested by @Calkulin. But my Phone doesn't boot up after flashing that apk. using this miui. ROM
