It doesn't take much coding experience, its just setting up the environment which takes the longest. Once you do a couple, you get the hang of it. The general (but very vague) instructions are in OP.

Not many people are asking nowadays since all the hype went towards CM12 and Lollipop.

Acctually me too. I'm on firmware 44. Can't see any benefit. On my old HTC One X I could definitely see the difference.

Didn't try because I don't use slimkat, you can manually push the framework.jar to
/system/framework and set the permissions to rw-r-r and reboot.

I'll take the zip down and look at it.

The question is whether or not to do lollipop roms. When I used lollipop builds, it didn't seem like it was necessary. What are your comments and thoughts?

I've seen a few builds already including smooth scrolling mods. Idk if its the same thing or if they have a different tweak. I'd say stock cm when it comes out and then requests if you're up to it like you've always done. We all appreciate it.

Well the early build that I tried, Facebook still sucked but I haven't tested with this mod so I think its worth a shot.
