Well. It'd work if the systemui crashing didn't stop the bixby button from working.... Anyway, I'll include the easy script that'll copy itself to an easy spot to execute via adb. So you still gotta remember to activate adb etc
It's a shame the bixby button doesn't work when the systemui is crashing because that was one hell of a good idea, I went ahead and saved that script you posted and activated adb just in case for next time so it's nice to know there's a way out standing by at least.

I just have another quick question if you wouldn't mind because I've read through the threads but I'm just still a little confused, and I apologize in advance if it's a stupid question but I'm just trying to avoid going to through what I did last time.

Ok so I currently have Weta v1.5 installed and everything is working like it should, and as far as Samfail goes I used the first version to root my phone.. So does that mean Weta v1.5 is the most current version available for my phone as of right now? Or is it still possible for me to install Weta v2.5 on my phone even though I originally used Samfail v1.0?

The problem that I ran into last time was firstly that I installed Weta v2.5 over Weta v1.5 without uninstalling it first, but the systemui crashes didn't start happening until l went into the Weta 2.5 app and ran "Clear App Data". So would the systemui crashes started happening no matter what I would've tried to execute in Weta v2.5 because it's not compatible with my phone (since mine uses Samfail v1.0 to root)? Or was it just because I'm a bonehead and forgot to uninstall v1.5 first?

Anyway just thought I'd ask (and hopefully what I'm trying to say makes sense lol) and thank you again for this awesome app and all of your help with it because it's beyond appreciated!!

What the wetamod app does is patch your systemui, and once it's done it writes a prop file to that effect so the app knows this, and doesn't patch every time you mod. So if you didn't wipe data, then the prop file would still be there and no patching of the wrong files would've happened.

Could not get this to take? Any ideas?
Try this
This is what exactly mentalmuso Said and worked for me

Activate 3minit battery in wetamod like you normally would.

Then select one of the 3 themes I modded by selecting 3minit battery theme in wetamod. It will override whatever is selected in the 3minit app

Ok first of all thank you for taking the time to respond and what you said does make sense.. but just to clarify when I installed the v2.5 app I never executed any of those mods (I did however have mods executed on v1.5 when I installed v2.5 as an update instead of uninstalling v1.5 first like I should've).. The only thing I did was select wipe app data because it said I needed to on the first screen that came up when I opened v2.5.

So anyway sorry to be a pain but just to make sure if I want to update from v1.5 to v2.5.. Should I first clear the app data (through the app) on v1.5 that I'm currently on and have mods executed with, then uninstall v1.5, then install v2.5 and execute whichever mods I want?

Make sure you are on correct version of Samfail. Weta 1.5 is for Samfail V1. If you updated your device and are using Samfail V2 then use 2.5

This is purely getting the existing Dolby Atmos to work on Oreo. That's the same version, as I use. I think
