Can't copy the file in the Directory nor can i change the file itself. Its says read only file system. I did this in the terminal. Is there permissions somewhere that needs to be changed?

Hello. I can't change first of all the permissions and second i don't have sound folder in etc. I am using omega v8 rom

Tried it on my gs3 i9300 running cm10.1 but it doesn't work, thought it would since the note 2 and the s3 have almost the same hardware... Que :s could you make this work for the s3 or at least tell me what should I do to modify the file or make my own file to work on the s3? I would really appreciate it, I love cm10.1 but ťhe speakers are way too low compared to Sammy based Roms

Just locate the file u have in /etc/sound and edit it. Check the first pages on this thread.

I tried that, waaay before even finding your post but when I edit it and click save, it says "operation failed" tried with different text editors, no luck :s any idea why that happens?

Use root explorer. Because ur root isn't set for r/w ...

tried this on HyperDroidAOXP with RedPill 1.48, could'nt (yet) get it to work :( put the t03 in etc/sound (renamed the old one before...), set permissions to rw-r--r-- , now the entire phone is mute, switched back and know what: the phone STAYS mute - audio/video doesn't even start anymore, phone-app stopps with incoming call ... reflashed the rom, now works again :confused:
