Thats what i was also trying to explain, these frameworks are already inbuilt in cm ,just need the apks to show ,which noejn removed to reduce the size ,but if any one needs that just flashing a zip can do ur work.

thats right as we do not have any official GB ROM sources so max of rom here are made from CM sources . so just flashing the apk's will work. and you will be able to use the cm settings...

Vishnu try to flash the attached zip that includes the CM setting apk's to any GB rom that doesn't have CM settings.

and you will get CM Setting just like that. no need for framework change...

so this ROM is combination of Void forever and some apk

Thanks for the post bro. I will check with it. Also, I did not ask anyone to use this rom dear buddies. I am not a ROM developer. Just a normal person. Had to tweak the ROMs according to my needs. What I did was, took vod rom, included cyanogen settings framework, tweaked some settings, sensor values, vibration values for getting more battery, removed some useless stuff, added live wallpapers etc and shared to all. Dats it. Just shared the GB personalized to my needs.
If anyone wanna use it, use it. Else leave it

More battery: Build.prop edits Check file
Framework: Using mik_os framework, check folder
No battery eating when using internet (Even in void, when data was enabled, battery drained)
Some new apps/useful filemanagers (I found it very difficult as void had no default file manager) i dnt wish to download it each time I install a rom

I've already downloaded and evaluated the changes.

I asked you several times to not use void.zip as base and yet you did.
I've also asked you not to release it as a ROM but as a mod, addon or theme instead (only the necessary files), and yet you did.

In the PM I sent, I propose a way to release it without infringing rules and without being unfair to me.
It's now up to you to take it or not.

This is against XDA rule #12 and it is an insult to me and other devs.
If this is to stay released, then it is as a mod, or addon. Never as ROM, because it isn't one.
(by mod, it's not just the name. he has to change the flash package .zip into only the files he changed)

If this is allowed, then XDA would be a circus since everyone can release void with his favorite applications and theme under a new name. Ridiculous.

And this terminates my participation in this thread, I only want to check vishnu's reply to my PM.

After going through the whole thread, I now feel that Noejn is right. If there are rules, they are to be followed. No matter what extraordinary modifications are added in this ROM, if it's against XDA principles, it's simply wrong. Every rule has been written here for a valid reason, and those rules make up the stability of this community. Should you not like the way things goes at XDA, there's a simple solution: leave.

Let's not argue on and on and think rationally. Everyone wants a stable and fast ROM with great battery life; Noejn did the work and gifted us with void#forever. Yeah, some may say he did not do much, it was only 0.5% of coding, or whatever arguments else, HE was still the one who did the job.

Now its true that many users are having a hard time getting all of the apps they wish to on Noejn's ROM. Vishnu found a cure to that, he got pretty much everything in his package. I'd say maybe he can just make the best add ons or MODs for void#forever, he'll get highly credited for his work and his addons will also be featured as part of Noejn's thread. Noejn worked out alot for us P500 users to be able to enjoy our phones, and such a ROM being encouraged is kind of a hard blow and lack of recognition towards his hardwork.

Such arguments happening here do not go towards the community's benefits, but may rather split it up.This thread is all messed with off topic posts of people arguing. Let's just stop it here, and let everything be sorted out in private.

Thanks for all those who took the time to read. I'm actually downloading this ROM to evaluate it. Hope that by the next time I click on this thread, it will look like a decent development thread.

This ROM sounds perfect, exactly what I wanted..
However, those the HTC sense live wallpaper work with this ROM? It does not work with original CM7.
