A fix I don't have in time, if I update my app next week's then it should be fixed :D

Sent by D6603 running Project Jìnhuá and Desired Jìnhuá ROM
I flashed project desire vlu 2 and it removed vipers driver but the project desire app worked! But after installing vipers driver it stopped working.

Is it possible to run on enforcing Linux or may I change Permissive to enforcing after successful Installation?
Tried some other mods that r running smoothly with enforcing.

Is there anyway we could get a type of run down of the sound engines? Like, I do not want crazy pounding bass, but good and clear, and I want nice crisp highs and mids, but no crackle.

What difference between Vibeuforium engine and TrueEngine?

Also, I see the first works with Harmoforia and TrueEngine works with Harmonia, but I know the difference of none of these, LOL! TrueEngine kind of sounds like what I want, but I do not really know

TrueEngine is what I use for rock music hear drums perfect guitar perfect bass is natural and not overpowered good for the most natural sound possible.

Don't know if I'm asking to much but could you package v2.3.4.0 viper instead of the new one if were aiming for better sound that'd be the best choice

Should I also enable harmoforia no matter what main engine turn on in first section? And also right now I am using cryRez p2se and it is very crisp clean sound, true engine had a good bit of bass. I listen to hiphop and r and b. What good for that?

Only one switch at a time turn harmoforia off and yeah cryrez is to high for my ears liking. And r and b viberforium with harmoforia extender only one that can run on 2 or more switch is viberforium with harmoforia extender FYI

So even the harmoforia extender is a single ran switch except run in conjunction with viberforium? So if I have any other switch on it the first set of settings then everything else must be off including harmoforia extender? I think I got it

But for hiphop u saying use the two right? Harmoforia and viberforia? I don't like massive bass....

Right now I am running Vibeuforium Engine processing with Harmoforia 2.0 extender for hiphop and r and b music and it is amazing! I have to say, I have tried every sound mod available, literally, and this is great! SO many options and what I am on now is very clear listening and perfect bass. Most mods make the bass too loud and distorted as well as sound and this just sounds clean clean clean! that is what I want and like!

Great work on this mod! Is there anyway you could create a version with only viper and not dolby atmos. I always disable atmos and am not a huge fan, no biggie if not, just asking.

Also, is it possible to create a document or something in the OP describing all these audio engines and the differences? What type of music? What sound differences? For speaker or headphone? Whatever the case may be? That only Vibeuforium can be run with the Harmoforia engine and all others in the first set of settings have to be run solo? You know, a guide type of thing? Thanks for listening.

    F.A.Q | FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why did you discontinued the SRC-Lite version?

The main reason to include the lite version was to make the mod compatible with other audio mods.
Now the mod utilizes Magisk framework called Audio Modification Library that allows that installation of multiple audio mods without having compatibility issues with one another's audio config file changes (this is a Magisk limitation, however AudModLib solves this issue).
Hence, no need for the lite version for better compatiblity.

What is the difference between Normal & Lite version?

Normal version has my personal audio_effects.conf entries which will overwrite your existing entries.
While in Lite version, the entries will be edited and will not conflict with any other sound mod.
That means you can use the Lite version with any other available sound mod in xda.

How to take a logcat to report your problem?

Download the app Cat Log on the Play store
Open the app give it the SuperUser permission and wait until the app starts to record the logcat
Now Try to run the problem that you encountered
Re-open the app and export the log.txt
Upload the log on a cloud storage (like Drive, dev-host)
Post the log here and I will try to fix the problem ASAP!!!

How to fix ViPER4Android not installs drivers?

Make sure that you have Busybox intsalled!
You can install it by using this application on the play store https://goo.gl/LztXpM
Make sure that you have at least 5mb Free in your system partition!
To check the free space in /system use this app https://goo.gl/D3lcm5 and go to the "advanced" menu
After installing busybox, try to reinstall the ViPER4Android drivers and reboot your device!

How to Get PowerAMP To Work?

PowerAMP will work on Normal and Compatible Mode.
For Normal Mode you must Disable BOTH Direct Volume Control & BT Direct Volume Control even if you're on wired headphones, under "Settings>Audio>Advanced Tweaks" to Disable.
For Compatible Mode you are free to use DVC but you must Enable MusicFX under "Settings>Audio>Advanced Tweaks", then under Tone/VOL you can trigger the MusixFX button and V4A will work.

    Update after long time!!

    Hey Everyone,
How are you all doing? It's been nearly two months since i pushed an update to the mod. The reason is that i was having my university exams and plus i had some personal family problems. I couldn't even reply to the users here at xda but i have noted down every question and tried to resolve the bugs via this update. Still if you face any bug or problem, then post it down here in the thread (not via PM) and i will be fixing it as quick as possible. So here it is, BioHazard with Nougat compatibility -

    BioHazard SRC-J/J-Lite (19-12-16) :

    Changelog :
    • Rebased the entire mod to support android N (7.x.x) devices
    • Removed AM3D Zirene (not compatible with 7.x.x) but available as add-on
    • Updated SRS Tru Media, DTS and ALSA configuration
    • Updated ViPER4Android to latest version (with nougat i/o fix)
    • Added more build.prop (setprop) audio tweaks
    • Thread re-designed at xda-developers.com (credits - adithbalan)
    • Major debloat (SRC-J : ~10mb and SRC-J[Lite] : ~6mb)
    • BioHazard SRC(Lite) sources pushed at github.com
    • Major script changes and bug fixes (see my github for details)
    Download :
    BioHazard-SRC-J.zip
    BioHazard-SRC-J(Lite).zip

    Note :
SELinux needs to be permissive on nougat(7.x.x) for viper to process.
AM3D doesn't fully support 7.x.x yet, so pls don't report bugs related to that.

    Enjoy! :good:

The SRC-Lite version has been discontinued from now on. (Read F.A.Q for more clarification.)
The OP thread has been updated with some updated information.

    Edit:
I forgot to replace the original 2.5.0.5 apk with material one in SRC-L.
So, if anyone wants material v4a then replace the apk located at either of the given locations with the attached apk.
