[MOD] Status bar layout for official CyanogenMod 7.2

CM7 Status bar layout with ICS notifications & center clock

Files changed (from official CM7.2):
  • framework-res.apk
  • SystemUI.apk
  • Music.apk
  • DownloadProvider.apk
  • Bluetooth.apk
  • Phone.apk


How to install:
· Copy StatusBar Layout - patch.zip & StatusBar Layout - undo.zip to your sd-card
· Boot to Recovery
· Flash StatusBar Layout - patch.zip
· Reboot
· Flash StatusBar Layout - undo.zip
· Reboot
· Flash StatusBar Layout - patch.zip
· Reboot
· Go to CM settings > interface > Status bar tweaks > compact carrier label [√] (without this, clear notifications button won't appear)
· (Optional) Go to CM settings > interface > Status bar tweaks > AM/PM Style > Small​
*Lockscreen icons also changed

I love it. But can you make a version with widget toggles at the top? Its kind of annoying to have them on the bottom.

I already made it and i'm using it. I'll upload it later with my theme ;)
Is it for the newly released nightly or for the previous one still? Thanks, btw. Ill be waiting.

Another thing Ive noticed in the layout is that even if the "Hide on change" option in cyanogenmod settings > interface > notification power widgets is disabled, the drop down notification "hides on change" by default.

It works with the latest nightly (it will works with all the nightlies so far). The hide on change issue is because how you touch the buttons. It won't happen with the power widgets on top.

Please, help me. I installed it on CM7 official last nightly, but no transparent bar... i did it all following exactly your instructions. What could it be?
