Used the .sh script, it runs fine until supersu installation, after that got many errors and after reboot, my Stratos got into bootloop... just the solar system spinning and spinning and spinning...
End up getting an old notebook with windows and used your unbrick.bat, installed firmware again and did the root with your .bat... Everything is working fine now! Thank you for all the help!

Hi.
I installed this mod on my Verge. Root checker says that i have root, but the app I want to use says that there is no root.
Should SuperSu icon appear in the launcher? It didn't appear.

No, it shouldn't, because SuperSU apk is not installed.
I don't know what app you want to use but maybe it doesn't support SuperSU or needs some permissions.

Android OS upgrade

Hello,

Thanks a lot for this!
Will there be soon an upgrade of the Android OS version from 5.1? I'd need at least Android v6, but is there a chance that it will be upgraded any time soon?

Cheers,

GL

No, Huami never updated Android OS. The only device which uses a newer OS is Nexo which runs Android Oreo.

Would creating a custom ROM based on a higher Android OS version be a hard thing to do? If I would do it (I've no experience yet in creating custom ROM's).

Cheers,

GL

A Pace running Hybrid ROM?
You don't need this as it's already integrated in the ROM.

    • For anyone interested on installing adb root, init.d support and SuperSU binary on Stock Firmware.
    • You don't need to install this on any of my rooted custom ROMs.
    • Note that this mod will break official OTA updates and you will need to update to new firmware using the installers for each device. So don't take any OTA just in case.
    • Install on your own risk.

    • Used boot.img for adb root and init.d support are based on latest firmware version for each device.

    Thank you

The Bluetooth volume boost command does not require root or a custom ROM, it is a simple adb command:
    https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/script-to-increase-volume-bluetooth-t3807650

Thanks!!! with this can i use AmazBoost on stock ROM ?

I think so, but I didn't test it.
Give some feedback if you try it.
