OK, as some of you may know, SNQ has developed a TB Wake for GB Sense ROMs.

I have taken the liberty to port the hack to be compatible with AOSP ROMs, so really the credits goes to SNQ.

I have tested the mod to work with Oxygen, but might as well work with other AOSP ROMs.

I know SNQ made some changes to the kernel, but I tested this with the standard kernel that comes with Oxygen 2.1.1, and it seems to be working good. :D

It works like in the good old days with Froyo where you had to edit the "curcial-oj.kl"

EDIT: Confirmed working on Devnull 1.02 as well

First, Thanks for your work!!!

I'm on oxygen 2.1.1. and flashed the zip with CWM (recovery), but the trackball don't wake up my phone.
Did I something wrong?

Sorry guys redid the update.zip, and I think it should be working now! ;)

you can use other script files from other patches/mods. try the attached file. I didn't try it my self on 2.2.2.

the file is not signed so toggle the verification if needed.

Here is a version that should be signed... I took the new script/contents from Akarim47's package and put them inside the original signed zip. Credit to hallydamaster and Akarim47 still, but should result in a signed edify compatible zip.

Have just tested after a nandroid and all seems well though the usual *use at your own risk* applies :)

mhhh actually I solved this issue by applying my old FroYo script that used to enable trackball wake and disable power button, since the script didn't enable trackball under GB, I applied it (trackpad_wake_KeysDisabled) then straight after applied the tbwakeaosp_signedv0.2

this will disable the power button, and enable trackball!

    Thanks guys :)
