EDIT : I think my issue is over. The network responsiveness is quick with my apps like Twitter.

Guys, what's the best RIL version for you?
For me, on 4.0.0037 signal seems to be stronger and mobile network a bit faster, but I notice hangouts is having troubles to send long messages (SMS, not internet chat). I tried other SMS apps, but the result is similar... what about you?

I tried 4.0.0013 and currently i am on 4.0.0017,both gave me nearly same results.The later being a little bit better in my case

Can you try to send a long SMS? I mean a SMS which is longer than the limit for a single text. It's like the phone can't divide it in 2 or more parts and the delivery fails. I tried the 4.0.0024 and it doesn't solve the issue. Going to try 4.0.0017

I understood what my problem is. When a message is longer then 160 chars hangouts and other apps will try to convert it to a MMS, which doesn't work on my network, I tried to configure them but nothing. I tried Textra app which lets me split up long messages in multiple parts and it works good. So the problem is not RIL related.

Is it possible to see what settings I have chosen. For example, I may want to change button brightness, but being forgetful I can't remember what I set it to last time. As you add more stuff there's more for me to forget. I was hoping it would show me all this on 'system information', just a though that perhaps it could be added here?

When running the aroma installer again the previous options you choose beforehand should be still checked.
Adding info to System Infomation wouldn't be ideal because you can't add extra fields, so if you adding something it would be under Hardware Info - Processor for example.

I've the same problem as you.
Once my SMS is too long (a send = 2 sms sometimes) that doesn't work. Not try for MMS.

No alternativ solution? Except Textra?

Even with Textra, always have the problem

It's a clean install. I've just change my radio to have a better and faster network responsivness.

It's works if I install the stock radio.
