Is there a way i can add the volume buttons as shooter for my sense 3.6 cam?
If not; maybe u can add them

Morning Jonny,

Hope you can advise me here please mate....

I'm on Elegancia 3.7.0 with Darkforest tweaks installed (HTC Sensation XE) and am trying to mod my status bar icons.
After a lot of reading up on how to do it, I'm following this guide to do it via adb and it works fine:

The problem is, I noticed that after I push my modified SystemUI.apk back to the phone and the new icons are there, I lose the tweaks app.
If I reflash the tweaks app, my icons return to stock.

Any idea how I can mod the icons AND keep the tweaks app installed?

PS:
Volume key shooter for the camera, and long press back to kill would be awesome tweaks to add to future versions of Darkforest tweaks

You could remove all the other files apart from tweaks.apk from the zip and then flash

Thanks - so simple, gutted I didn't think of that.
Mind you I'm very new to creating/editing flashable zips (baffles the hell outta me!!), so if I had thought of that, I wouldn't have been confident that it would work.

I actually got it working by extracting SystemUI.apk from the tweaks zip instead of the ROM, replacing the icons in there instead, putting it back in the tweaks zip and then flashing that from recovery, but your way seems muuuuuuch better

BTW - what do you reckon about the new tweaks I suggested? Are they possible on 3.6 (as they are on 4.x)?

Understood chief, if time allows it would be great to implement these on 3.6 as it's all that's missing these days

Just flashed 2.1.0 on latest ARHD and something weird happens, when I select "reboot to recovery" or "reboot to bootloader" on APM it always does a hot reboot. Does it happen to anyone else?

edit: scratch that, was my bad, tried to change boot/down animations and somehow screwed things up.

BTW where (if) could we find tweaks 2.2.0 as a stand-alone package?

beside that i am using JB animations. can i still use it after i flashed this tweak?because i read in some statusbar tweak threads, that it is obligatory to reflash JB animation

I don't think so as JB anims are stored in framework-res.apk and no sense 3.6 tweaks use framework-res.apk so nothing will change

i tried the other tweak zip, one from leedroid same thing
optimizing apps -> upgrading android -> starting apps -> and then hangs with screen off...

i must have missed something.
