this is amazing Volume boost!
speaker is have a clear sound. and volume sound boooost!!

Everything in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...t-mod-t2909833 should be all you need to know on how to do it.

Just make sure you have root access and a root file explorer app, like root explorer or es file explorer

Open up your chosen file explorer app, go to system/etc and locate the mixer_paths.xml file, if you long press the file it should give you the option to open it with text editor, so open it with text editor, scroll down approx half way and you should see the values you need to amend, it's just a case of swapping numbers, save and exit, then reboot your device, once device boots up you should notice the increase in volumes, my max headphone volume for headphones was set at 77, I upped mine to 90, if your not sure what these values look like, read the 1st post in the link I gave you, it shows you screenshots of what to change.

Is this some kind of a joke thread? I dowblaoded the boosted file and installed it correctly -now my phone's max volume is half to that of stock. Really?

Why would this be a jokes thread.... it would have been reported and shut down long ago if it were...

Just cuz it didnt work for you, dont call devs work a joke....

Head Phone Boost

Hi Splendid-XDA! Thanks again for the Volume boost, Louder & Clear too, please would you be kind enough to point out which lines in the default_gain.txt I need in order to boost the Headphone's volume. Many Thanks in advance & Kind Regards:)
