[MOD] [UPDATE] Sound volume Headphone Boost [UX ROMS]

as I had the M8 before the Note 5 I felt how less the volume levels compared to M8 especially on headphones
so I moded mixer_gain.xml in system/etc to get much higher volume even higher than the M8
so decided to share because why not
the only issue I had is that the music stops when you max the volume with some devices (like my car's AUX) the only one though so if you know a fix I would be very grateful if you share it

added a safe version which raises the volume to the highest possible without stopping the music or harming the speakers the device is attached to after many testing (that's the first on xda so please press thanks)

instructions just copy the xml file in the zip attached to system/etc
or simply flash the zip from recovery and hit thanks that would be helpful to me ​

Ive had this issue with the galaxy s6 edge before my Note 5, the maxing of the volume music stops the music,restarts it but with lesser volume :-/ never did find a way to fix or just turn off this feature

I added a zip to get back to stock values however as I said the music player only stops with my car's aux and I think it can be fixed if a kernel developer steps in

hey if i have viper4android installed and working mint would this mod interfere or contribute? basically does it overwrite audio_effects.conf? i could probably check the zip out for myself huh

it is improved stock I dont want to interfere with the speaker in order not to break it any way

Its works well but there ia a problem with call. When you receive a call muzik stops and when you end the call music starts again. Yes this is normal. But when its starts again, music seems like distorts like you not completly attach the headphones. Maybe its only for me. I dont know

please what is the line in mixer gain should i change its value to boost calling earpiece voice (when calling another person and phone on my ear )

Have managed as far as powering down the Note 5 and restarting in recovery mode, but am otherwise stumped as to what to do next! Phone is currently not rooted. Would kindly appreciate any guidance. Aside from the Note 5, I've only access to a macbook.

you will need root custom kernel and custom recovery for this to work sorry
