once i was a great full user of note 8 and your mod helped me a lot. for your creation i enjoyed my music most. thanks a lot for your mod. but now i am moving note 8 and miss your this mod so much. i asked note 8 forum for this mod but no one helped me. can you please make this one for note 8 please....

and replace the file with twrp not in system
flashable zip when you report back

at first i backup my rom
then go to twrp and copy "mixer_gains" to etc/

after then

found some problem.
1st, samsung music player not working. after launch it going to hang. volume button going to be hanged after raise one or two button,
2nd, as usual not able to hear music cause music player say's play back failed.

i had my backup but twrp not restored that. don't know why.

now what we have to do?

second test result given below,

1. mixer_gain copied successfully.
2. restart device
3. played a song with samsung music player
4. player stucked for few seconds
5. then automatically go to next track showing "play back failed"
6. after that repeat process from (4).

after tried a lot, there was same thing happen again and again.
but
after copying it was nice but when i restarted it after copying it whole went wrong.
so i think its a rom fact.

now what we are gonna do!!!
i was very depressed since last tow days.

in note 5 forum, i never face storage mount problem,
never saw any where, mixer_gain not be modified...
but in note 8 forum
i saw somewhere they warned " never boot your device after modify build prop.

ok now flash your stock rom with odin and reroot
I think I will not be able to make the mod for you as I see it went very different with the note 8 and I don't have it

but if you want a volume boost there is another way
if you are using magisk just install viper4android
you will get everything you dream of

Bro, my butt was grass and you saved it, I had flashed the wrong volume mod for this phone, I couldn't figure out what happened, I had accidentally flashed a mod for marshmellow is what happeded and couldnt figure out how to fix it and flashing this did it thank you worked on the newest official os nougat good looking out thanks for sharing!!!!
