Has anybody managed to get this working on any recent AOSP builds? Did a quick search and read that Lineage builds from 12th Feb onwards were breaking compatibility. Does anybody have a fix/workaround?

Thanks in advance.

This is for anyone that wants only the dual speaker mod with stock volume and based on the latest DQB7 files.

Sorry if this is not appropriate here. I'll remove it if OP requests it.

Hi,
Is this possible to have dual speaker with volume boost only for media, not for ringtone, notification and alarms?

Yes, just go to the file mixer_gains and right in the first section, called <!-- media playback volume -->,

increase those "32" values to something of your liking, like 36 or something else. Don't go too high.

Do this for each path (headset, handset, bt sco headset, speaker, etc) until you arrive at the next section, which is <!-- Ringtone playback volume --> . Guess what paths in this next section does? That's right, it's the volume gains for ringtones. Don't change those if you don't want.

This mod is very easy to implement, the files are very self explanatory on what each thing does. Ppl just have to change values to their liking.

That has to be done in the mixer_paths file, there are tons of mic references, I don't think I can figure that one out, sorry. I only know how to play with volumes in mixer_gains.

But in theory it's possible, you'll have to find the call mic setting, replace the default mic path with the top mic path value...

Two things that have changed in the aosp (lineage os) build is the mixer paths file has been renamed to mixer_paths_0.xml the other is the mixer_gains.xml file is no longer present.
