Notes : (Pls read)
1. Uninstall the current mod first before installing V3 (V3 has a different code name, so it won't overwrite the existing installed mod).
2. This mod is still not confirmed that it is 100% guaranteed to work. So please report back with respectable manner.
3. If you think the volume of the earpiece can go higher, please refer to the first few pages where I've listed on how to increase it manually, and please report back the safest highest volume the rn7 earpiece can handle.
4. And finally, I am not responsible for any damages to your device. Use this mod at your own risk!!

It should work on any rom. As the device sources should be exactly as Xiaomi developed it for miui.

Do you have any other audio related mods installed? If so, it could conflict with my mod. Beside to uninstall of them first, then install my mod. If the mod is working, proceed to install all your other mods one by one to check compatibility. Please do let me know your config, including installed mods. Thanks for reporting back mate!

Go to the following folder path system/vendor/etc, then open the "mixer_paths.xml" in there, search for the line/paragraph with "earpiece" in it. Change the "RX1_Digital_Volume" value to your desired number. Please note that the number should never exceed 100. The highest I've seen is 95 on the Redmi 5 I think. Increase it step by step. Put the volume to the max when listening to music, cover the bottom one, and listen for crackling in the earpiece. If you hear any crackling, lower the volume immediately to prevent permanent damage. Then dial the number back a bit in the modified file. Once you find the highest and safest value for RN7, please report back so I can modify for it for everyone to use it. Good luck!

The 7 pro has a different chip, so the codes are probably different. If you want me to take a look, upload the files to gdrive and I'll see what I can do. The files I need are the ones that start with 'mixer' and 'audio' in system/vendor/etc.
