I've been doing a few tests and I might have been a bit hasty when saying it worked with the new 4.4.2 TW leaks. There doesn't seem to be any noticeable difference in headphone volume with this mod :(

Does it work on every ROM? Can you make a flashable zip of this mod? Thanks
I tried to do that but i should learn how to create a flashable zipfile first because it didn't work :(
Meanwhile someone posted a link to another soundmod that has flashable zipfile a little earlier in this topic, i guess it is simular to this one
i also think it doesn't work on samsung rom but i cannot test it myself

Any chance to get a modest version? Medium is too loud. A miniboost would be great.
Sure, i can do that, you want only for speaker or all the others also ?
I noticed myself that incall speaker is a little too loud, people can hear themselve talking lol
I will post the updates soon,

Can I have like 1 - 1.5% boost? 3% is too much for phonespeakers. Thanks man :)
ouch man, i just noticed i accidently saved the file in .txt format in my editor, it will probably not have worked if you copy/pasted it without renaming it.
I removed the previous file and uploaded a new +3% file, can you test this and tell me if it worked this time ? If it is still to loud i will check the files to reduce the volume to +1% (i didn't hear much difference with this +3% file so better test this updated file again)
same procedure : overwrite the old file in \system\etc\snd_soc_msm\ and set permissions to rw-r-r before rebooting

I switched out the orginal file in cm with yours. And I deleted the .txt in filename. Then I did a cleanflash. It worked very good. But just effect too high. On max volyme speakers sounds bad. I think 1%-1.5% would be great. Thanks again mate. :)

I had a look at my original files, the default setting is at 67,7
The mini boost is at 68,7 so i guess it wass allready at 1% :)
You can play with the settings -> open in notepad++ do a search for 68,7 and lower the volume for speaker or headphones (or anything that gives distortion) to a preffered lower setting -> DON'T go louder then 76 or your speakers might break (my superboost is at 75.5 i think wich allready gives distortion at maximum volume but i personally don't care, i can listen to music at work between muich noise from machines and i buy a phone every 1 or 2 years so i want it to work as best as possible for the time it is used)

If your speaker still sounds bad at 65 your speaker might be broken (or your earpiece if it is only for the headphones)
