@gnan10 If you look at this first pic in 2nd post where he has 88 change all those values to 92. Now in second pic of post 2 where he has it at 93 that is what you want. I think your problem was all the values that you had where not all the same you had some set at 93, 94, 95, 94, 90. I dunno but I would think that is what your problem lies in all the values not being the same.

With boeffla kernel and his app you can increase the earphone and speaker volume. Try it. The mixer paths edit is not working on lollipop.
Its working on lollipop here just fine.

Can this be updated to work with CM 12 nightlies on the Nexus 4. I ask because I tested the cm11s and it worked but I cant hear calls anymore. I tried editing the file manually but the original mixer xml that comes with CM 12 dosent appear to have all the lines shown in the original post for editing. I would surely donate for a editied version for CM 12.

So i was searching how to do this without root(as my phone has a lot of data to backup). So could you please tell me whether this mod can be applied from stock recovery?

Not possible without root because it modifiers a system file

Did anyone manange to find a fix for the bluetooth volume? I'm using the zip from the OP.
It works on some ROMs, not on others. And on the ROMs that it does work on, It won't work every time.

I'd be very happy if someone could explain how to add additional volume steps like the mod from the xposed framework.
Tried manually changing on exodus lollipop rom , ended up loosing sound. Don't know what I am doing wrong. Has anyone succeeded in increasing the volume on exodus rom?
