Well we are using it in a way that it was never intended. Maybe they coded it that way never expecting that many apps.Ah, I see. Deleting that adds every app to the multi-window list. That's one way to workaround not being able to add apps, hah.
That said, it doesn't fix the ability to actually add apps to the list. The same issue where it drags only apps from the first 8 rows still persists. I wonder why that happens?
It could be, definitely. Seems like a pretty silly oversight when coding it, if that's the case.Well we are using it in a way that it was never intended. Maybe they coded it that way never expecting that many apps.
Make sure you are actually replacing the old files, and not simply renaming them. Leaving in old odex files can potentially also cause issues.Ok ill give it a shot again

Anyone got a fix for this? I can't add some apps I really want cuz it keeps adding something elseMine works as well but for some apps it does this weird thing were it drags in another app. For example I tried dragging youtube and it would always drag the app two spots above it instead.

[...] No issues except not being able to add past the eighth row, which can be circumvented by adding apps to the bar until you can get the one you need into the eighth row. [...]
This works. Thank you!For now delete this folder "/data/data/com.sec.android.app.FlashBarService" and reboot.
It will add all apps to your bar, from there just remove the ones you don't want on the bar.
It's probably not related... All the apps in the bar are simply a list of apps made in xml. Shouldn't even take any cpu resources other than the initial loading at boot and update when you install/uninstall an app. I'm hovering at around 1% usage.Well it definitely works... but I'm having an interesting issue. My cpu Usage is staying around 25-35% after doing this... I tried stopping multi window and freezing the flashbarservice and it's still doing it. I guess it could be unrelated but this is the only thing i've changed and it was at 2-5% before this so.... could too many apps in the multi window bar be causing it?
yep, several times... wait, FOUND IT. The "Media" app was running chaotically high for some reason. Probably a mediastore problem. force stopped it and we're good now. No problems with this mod, just coincidental. Excellent work Hairdewx! It's probably not related... All the apps in the bar are simply a list of apps made in xml. Have you tried closing all apps and clearing memory?
