Hey guys
In their life, devs have surely a lot of things to think of, and NO, none of them is making thousands MODs for a ROM that works just fine. One of the most annoying requests that are flooding our forums is the black statusbar.
Well, thanks to the xPosed framework (You can find my thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2196265) you can black out your status bar (but that's one of the great things you can achieve using xPosed) without any development knowledge.
PAY ATTENTION: to apply this MOD, I assume you're able to press some buttons on your screen - just kidding :silly:
Instructions:
First of all, get xPosed Installer here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
(Of course you need root+ busybox - if you're rooted but you've some problems you'll have to update your busybox, there's plenty of apps on the market that can do this)
Once you installed the app, open it, and press the "Install/Update" button, then if everything goes fine, reboot your phone. Once it's on again, download the xPosed Tweakbox from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1629653 and install it.
open xPosed installer,go to the "Modules" tab and tick the xPosed Tweakbox box. In the app drawer you should have a new icon (the Tweakbox,of course), open it.
Now you'll see some options: let's focus on "Statusbar"
But the xposed tweakbox is not limited to this! If you go to "Miscellanous" you'll find an useful feature you can find in CyanogenMod: skip tracks with the volume buttons when the screen is off.
This thread has the purpose to be an input: now that you have set up your xPosed framework, go and discover by yourself its great potential!
