Alright, follow these steps to get google play back up and running after latest hotfix patch as well as Xposes Update. "Im not sure which of the 2 caused the broken patch, regardless thw exposed module needs updated for newest framework"
*Uninstall all google relates material, updates, and services from android app settings.
*Downgrade Exposed Framework to this version and install it to frameworl after installation https://www.dropbox.com/s/egk27m9pzvphh7i/xposed.installer_OUYA.apk
*Assuming you have the RootMyOuya app on your Ouya, run it to make sure root is a go, if super user ask for any permissions, allow them.
*Toggle "On, Off, On" the google play installer module in Exposed Framework and select it. Toggle it as well and install it.
*Reboot putting all changes in affect.

After a reboot, try selecting google play, log in into G Account and cross your fingers. If you get the license and terms agreement on google play, chances are, you were a success. Howevor, if you have any problems with this, I suggest a factory reset and try again with the installation. Regardless of what you do, we need this version of Exposed Framework untill we get an updated module or a new method.

I see that MIUI firmware has an app that uses SU to install google play via data so im trying to re-engineer it for us or build something similar.

I know its going to sounds stupid but can you give a fresh write up to install this from scratch as the original walk-thru is out of date and I just bought an ouya finally and am looking forward to getting google apps on it!

Thanks

This doesn't work anymore, you have to get the latest Google Play Store and Services.
What I did is I followed this, then updated the store and services to the latest ones. They work like a charm...

No problem. There seems to be a lot of people having the same trouble. Did you have to install new version of play services and updated play store? I'm curious because I just installed on a new OUYA and didn't have to do that.

Yes I did have to do that, I used the version that ahmadshawki Linked on the last page and that fixed all the problems I was having.

Here they are attached. You can always look for them on Android Police. If the ones I attach here don't work for any reason, try getting the previous versions...
And here is the Play Services

I just installed on a new system and didn't have any problems. Can you tell me where you ran into it asking for the updated files? I've only seen that before when trying to use the newest xposed framework.

Well, if it's updated it won't work. I used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2835358
I even used it through wireless adb to install the play store and viola...
I tried that, followed it exactly and no matter what It will not recognize the ouya device, even after i install the adb driver it still shows up in my computer normally and as ADB interface in device manager but wont show in the script

That's weird. Which Windows are you on? Is it 8? Are you sure the drivers are installed properly? Did you try to use wireless ADB? My OUYA doesn't show on the script, it shows on the normal cmd window. Here is what I did. I went to settings/development on the OUYA and activated the wireless ADB. Then I right click on an empty space in the extracted folder while holding shift and click start cmd here. Then I type :adb connect ip : port" as shown on the OUYA. Then I made sure that it is connected by typing "adb devices". The I left it open and started the script. Then I chose only the last play store option, as I already have the rest. It worked and now I have access to the play store.
After that make you that Xposed is installed and that the mod is checked. Then reboot.
Let know if it still didn't work for you.

Everything worked and pushed thru except for the CWM recovery, however google play is still not working, i keep getting a connection timed out error which is what i was getting before this whole venture. it was working great until somehow yesterday ouya pushed an update to it even with having auto updates turned off.... now i cant get play working again....
