I had this problem. Just been reading through the thread and came across your post. I used touchpad instead of the controller buttons and now I managed to install Play store! Thanks.Alright, that worked. Guess it should have stated you need to select the checkbox (using a mouse/the touchpad). After that installing went fine.
I did ): it is. Still FCs. I tried running app_process and I got this:Make sure the Play Store mod is checked in the Xposed Installer
/system/bin/app_process
Error: no class name or --zygote supplied.
Usage: app_process [java-options] cmd-dir start-class-name [options]
with Xposed support (version 34)

Works! Thank you
The OUYA basically looks like a Tablet to the Play Store, so you can actually install a lot of apps & games. However, using them is a different story... Apps & games that allow interaction with the controller work quite well.Obviously this is a huge mountain to jump over with rooting and all, should be easy
with the instructions on XDA in threads as always but BEFORE making the leap...
What actually works in Play? I've had devices go unrecognized even without being
rooted like my Zeki tablet, Google's dev guys just refuse to certify it because it
doesn't come with Play Store installed. So therefore, they never will while making
excuses.
That's my main question, am I going to hit a ton of incompatibles where I can't even
attempt an install of that app or a giant chunk of them? If so, it's far easier to
scan for APK's and sideload them or other means than clog it all up with Play
itself.
Those who've got this working, what walls are you hitting with your OUYA and App
installs? Not incompatibilities, we know those exist naturally as some aren't written
to work on the OUYA or Tegra 3 chipsets. I'm talking about how bad can't you
install various Apps?
HAHA yeah, and along with the hundreds of free apps I've ever downloaded. Google really screwed up the store. If you are logged in you need to click on the down arrow in the top right corner of the play store. This will show apps you have bought.

No doubt! But I think they noticed that, since they eventually gave us the option to remove unwanted apps from that list.HAHA yeah, and along with the hundreds of free apps I've ever downloaded. Google really screwed up the store.
I'm getting the following error when I try to cat the app_processadb push app_process /sdcard/
adb shell
su
mount -orw,remount /system
cp /sdcard/app_process /system/bin
chmod 755 /system/bin/app_process
reboot
