Anyone using AOSP mods with nova launcher and experiencing a glitch when you unlock the phone that makes the status bar flicker? Until the flicker occurs and is finished the phone is frozen and you can't interact with it. It's a few tenths of a second. I have no idea what causes it. It never happens at the beginning of the day. It's always later. I can't correlate it to anything. I'm on the latest stable AOSP mods, magisk 25.2, latest stable lsposed, and nova beta 8.0.3.
Request: is it possible to have wifi network type indicator (4,5,6) on the wifi icon? Saw that on the AICP ROM.
No flickering issues here with Nova beta. But sometimes it doesn't launch correctly backing out of an app unless I hit my home button. But I do have a gesture set to the home button, so that may be the issue & if you have a gesture or two set up or other Nova customizations, that may be your issue as well.
Either way, it's not an AOSP mod issue, it's a Nova beta thing. It's a beta release - quirks will happen sometimes.
Hey guys.. I have been using this mod since a long time.. Today I updated my P6P to T3B2 and this module has been causing bootloop. I am on latest 232 version. What can be done in this regard ?
If you're referring to qpr3 beta..... Nothing can be done at the moment. I guess that's the price we pay to use the bleeding edge
Maybe disable the module, then start from scratch and start switching features one by one to see which one gives the trouble?

Any chance of adding immersive mode as a toggalable feature from a double tap gesture as a mod for the status bar in AOSP mods? Anyone seeking this functionality anymore? I want it in oer app basis (hence the need to have it toggalable) but not all the time.
Sorry if I really clear enough. I didn't mean going through the modules, but rather through the Mods settings...Yes I did that and deduced that its this module giving the issue

I would ask on the magisk mods thread. There is 1 by Tulsadiver somewhere but you would need a custom 1 I would think for evolution x ROM. -

The name AOSPMods is becoming very confusing to many people.
That's why we've decided to rename the mod to "Pixel Xpert" to reduce the confusion.

This is a mixed Xposed+Magisk module, which is made to allow customizations that are not originally designed in AOSP (Android Open Source Project).

Currently, AOSP Mods offers customizations on different aspects of system framework and SystemUI, including:

Compatibility:
These mods are designed based on AOSP source code. What does it mean? it means that they are expected to work on Roms (Firmwares) which are built based on fairly unmodified Android source code. This means, mainly, Pixel Phones (3, 4(XL/a), 5(a), 6(PRO/a), 7(PRO)), and any other Roms that haven't heavily modified the original Android codes.

Variants:
Apart from modification on system elements, AOSPMods also includes a number of system overlays to modify fonts, system icons and colors. However, for those who are not interested on such overlays, we have added an Xposed-only package which, as the name says, only includes the system modification, without such system overlays.
Xposed Package: Includes only Xposed-based modification and has a rather smaller file-size. This is the one that module developers also use
Full Package: Includes everything present in Xposed package, plus additional system overlay options.
You can choose either package, and install the chosen one on your device
The module is released in 2 flavors, which download and update procedures are different:
- Stable release:
- Manual Install/Update: through repository's Github release page (link below)
- Automated updates: through magisk manager, or AOSPMods built-in updater
- Canary release:

Q: The installation steps are too difficult / I'm not sure how to install the module
A: This mod is made only (and only) for power users who know how to root their device, are fairly familiar with magisk, and are very fluent with adb/fastboot, specially if their device falls into bootloops, etc. IF you're not sure how to work with magisk, adb, bootloaders, root explorers, etc., you're making a huge risk by proceeding with installation of this mod, which we (the authors) cannot bear the consequences. Maybe your device never boots normally, or you can easily lose your data in case you make any mistakes.

- Install the zip file in Magisk
- Reboot
- Technically, the module should automatically activate itself in Lsposed. If didn't, please activate manually and reboot again
