You know what's funny. I'm on the stable version of the google dialer and the call button doesn't work for me at all
Okay, I gave in (since I had opted back out of the Beta days ago but it hadn't yet put me back on Stable). I uninstalled the Beta, updated from the Play Store to get the latest Stable version, and I was able to then call as normal using the dialer. I tested it twice.

The Stable version of the Dialer that I'm on is:
Code:
version 80.0.441597922-pixel2021

What version of Google Phone are you running?

I would try force closing then clearing data for dialer. Then uninstall updates through okay store. Reboot and update dialer. Also make sure all mods are off in magisk and including things like repainter/themer/etc. The new stable release has all the beta features now I believe.

I will try to do that thank you. Do you happen to know if android handles call logs like messages btw? Like how messages are stored in some built in system app and you can just change the actual sms app without affecting the messages. I wonder if call logs work the same bc I'm afraid uninstalling the dialer will delete my call logs

My call logs are still fully intact after uninstalling the updates to the Phone app and then re-updating to the latest Stable version in the Play Store.

If you were actually fully uninstalling the app (including the version that comes with the Pixel firmware) and then fully re-installing instead of just re-updating the app, I can't say if it would be different.

Well, now it got interesting. The call button is fixed but I've lost all pixel exclusive features. Hold for me and call screening are gone and I'm on a pixel 5. I even reinstalled it again and then rebooted my phone too but that didn't do anything

Hopefully, within 24 hours the features get turned back on for you.

I've had this happen before. Force stop the app and open it again usually fixed it for me.

你好,我很喜欢这个项目,但是电池和信号图标之间的差距有点大。另外,我要求添加一个状态栏位置指示器开关

Mod translation via GT: Hi, I love this project, but the gap between the battery and signal icons is a bit big. Also, I have a requirement to add a status bar position indicator switch

There is a little space here. It is requested to add a status bar position indicator switch

Strange, my settings came back within minutes after clearing data. Did you set up caller id and spam? I know that needs you to activate it which might trigger the other options to appear.
Yep I certainly did. I actually went through each setting one by one to make sure I have the settings I have before reinstalling the dialer

The concept of Xposed mods on custom ROM doesn't make much sense.
The whole point of an Xposed mod is keeping the original ROM and modding it.
If one is ready to change the original ROM, then there are lots of roms that each have their own customization options, without compromising on performance like the way Xposed does, and one can choose which rom is best matches needs

Will the module work on Lineage OS?

I was searching for an "AOSP Mods" module I used a few years ago and stumbled on it. Are they the same?
AOSPMods had issues with custom roms. So we rebranded it to PixelXpert to emphasize that only stock pixel is supported.

Alright. I'm going to try now and see if it works.

EDIT: System UI kept restarting after installation.

    Uninstalled ✅

Awesome job @siavash79 on the lockscreen depth effect on AOSPMods latest canary. Just made a quick wall to test it out. Need to adjust a bit but was 1st attempt . Screenshot_20240411-211914.png

    FAQ

Q: I've found bugs, I have suggestions, or I want to suggest a new feature
A: Your feedback will be very welcome. Please head to Github repository (linked below) and report your issue. We'll try our best (and never guarantee) to resolve them

Q: The installation steps are too difficult / I'm not sure how to install the module
A: This mod is made only (and only) for power users who know how to root their device, are fairly familiar with magisk, and are very fluent with adb/fastboot, specially if their device falls into bootloops, etc. IF you're not sure how to work with magisk, adb, bootloaders, root explorers, etc., you're making a huge risk by proceeding with installation of this mod, which we (the authors) cannot bear the consequences. Maybe your device never boots normally, or you can easily lose your data in case you make any mistakes.
So, if you're not sure how to proceed, please (please) stop right here, and DO NOT GO FURTHER. We will not be responsible for any damage caused

    Q: Do you accept donations/payments?
A: This module is not / will not be a commercial product. While we really appreciate your support, we do not / will not accept any payments for this module, in any form
However, if you really feel like it, you can donate to your favorite charity on our behalf, or help funding education for children in need, at Child Foundation

    Q: How can I help?
A: We will be more than happy to receive help, in any way possible. So, If you are a developer and can contribute to the project (which by the way is open source), we will gladly accept your contribution. Even if you're not a developer, you can always help us by opting-in for tests/experiments and provide feedbacks, so that we can further improve the module. (Please send a message to one of the authors)
