I have a question regarding the gameloft games I cant for the life of me get asphalt 8 or dungeon 4 to work. I can play blitz brigade, mw4, and asphalt 7 from google play. Also can wild blood but only from backed up apk not from google play version. I was wondering if there is anything you guys are doing to make these 2 games work. I have only installed google play versions of asphalt 8 and DH4 are you guys using the same or is it amazon or maybe direct from gameloft? Dungeon Hunter 4 is version 1.2.0 and asphalt 8 im not sure as it is currently not installed do to space restrictions.

Also I have had this mod Installed since it was in the other thread with just the playstore mod without the overscan fix and all that and I have only updated when this new mod was released and just today to get the gameloft stuff. All throughout this time ive been having random google play crashes and ouya launcher crashes they never really quit to desktop or anything they just pop up a box and you have to click ok I also have problems downloading large google play files requiring multiple restarts because of freezing. Is this normal or is something wrong I understand this solution for getting play store is not 100% but Im not seeing many people reporting these problems so I was wondering am I alone. OR does anyone have any advice on how to proceed. Thanks for everything!

Some gameloft games can't start in Ouya launcher, for those games, I will use ES file explorer to launch. Or you can install another launcher to replace it.

Yeah I guess I should of said I use nova launcher for everything except the ouya store of course. Thanks for trying!

If by chance you have f-droid installed that would be the likely culprit. It has caused a lot of the problems you're describing.

I'm having the same issue as you with the Google play store...When i download large files over wifi they are sooooo sloooow even tho i'm 4 feet away from my router but it won't freeze my console YET, but if i connect the ETHERNET wire on the back of my OUYA to download large files from Google Play Store it starts downloading pretty fast and then 2 or 3 minutes after it starts downloading my OUYA freezes completely to the point were i have to hold the power button down for 8 seconds for it to shut down or i have to pull the power wire from the back and start the OUYA all over again for it to start downloading again and 2 minutes later BAM! frozen again, and its really starting to get to me, so now what i have to do is download the games that i want from my step daughters modded JB nook color and transfer the files over to my OUYA...This sucks.

Yes I also just noticed that the remap L1 R1 on MW4 mod also isnt working no matter what combination of mod collection gameloft mods turned on and off I use so maybe some of my issues are a faulty install or something. I use the office depot mouse to trick gameloft games into thinking that i have moga usually so I have always been able to play moga games on ouya without moga. The mod is still working if i unplug that mouse it still detects moga but the button hacks dont seem to work. I dont know I guess im gonna try to re install is there any firmware version or mod that you can recommend i use as a base to install exposed and mod collection onto or any sort of order to do it in? Or should I just go with the newest OTA and standard wipe cache factory reset. Thanks for the advice I normally would just do it without worrying about the outcome but I really dont have to much extra time right now and need it to work and would rather get some others experiences so I dont have to spend anymore time than necessary until I have so more time to mess around. Again I cant thank you guys enough for not only your hardwork but also spending the time to help other get it working also for that im very grateful!

I have a backup made... I have root... xposed framework... playstore is working.... mod collection is enabled. Every attempt to open the MOD collection icon crashes to homescreen

Do you active module on xposed ? If not, tick it with the pad

I recently tried the one click root apk and the root was successful. I then downloaded the mod collection apk but when I tried opening the app, nothing happened and it took me straight into the home screen. I tried redownloading the apk (thinking it was a bad download) but the same thing occurred.
Any help? Please

Latest OTA preserved su and playstore just fine!!!!

Just wanted to inform anyone wondering that the preserve su and play store mod worked great for the OTA update released last night. Just in case anyone is nervous about installing the update.

You need to have preserve SU and CWM BOTH installed to make the preserve work right. When it flashes, it asks for root permissions, which you should grant. It will boot to CWM and begin flashing. You need to tell it that flashing is okay, which will require a USB keyboard or mouse since your controller won't connect through bluetooth. After you say that flashing is okay, you'll be at the screen with the reboot back to system selected. Do so. It will ask if you want to disable removing CWM, which you should do (Disable recovery flash). The Ouya will reboot, finish upgrading, and should show you the normal Ouya menu/home screen soon after.

Tremendously grateful to OP for this mod. Great to have google play working.

Only problem I am having is that when I click on boot to recovery I come to a blue screen with nothing else on it. Tried redownloading the one-click and reinstalling but same result. Searched both threads and can't find a similar complaint.

Any suggestions?

The easy "oh, CWM isn't installed right" thing is that after you grant root permissions and it reboots, it ends up not actually having upgraded the system. If you haven't preserved SU, it will upgrade but you lose SU after. Sometimes it's just not worth fighting it, especially when you can just re-run the one-click on the box without needing to flash anything or do any of the adb work again. But if you can get CWM on properly once, that takes care of it forever after, so... that.
