Thanks. The xposed version I had went all wonky when tabbing over to the modules section so I downloaded from another source and this one is completely different, looks like a phone app. Anyways, I replaced that, reinstalled the play store, rebooted and we're all good.
Hey WonderEkin I just got my Ouya and used your no PC root method and it worked flawlessly!
But when I installed the Mod Collection and downloaded and installed the Play Store everything was working fine, I got to the sign in screen for my Google Account but when I went to the next step and it was installing it boots me out of the Store. I go into the Android settings menu and it shows my Google account is there but every time I go to the Store it loads for about 1 sec and then boots me out to the main menu. Any help?
Oh I forgot to mention I did a factory reset to try to uninstall the Play Store but it wouldn't uninstall, and I went through the file manager and it still wouldn't let me uninstall it.

I've also factory reset my OUYA before but it never removed the play store so when i Softbricked my OUYA 2-3 days ago and in order to bring it back to life i booted my OUYA into the stock recovery and ADB in SIDELOAD mode not HOST mode and flashed the latest OUYA update from my PC basically erasing everything clean like the first day i opened the OUYA and i manage to bring the OUYA back to life and the Play Store and any file and apps associated with the play store were gone for good, so my guess is that you will need to flash just like i did to wipe clean your OUYA from the play store, unless there's a real/easier way to do it without loosing everything in the OUYA or unless WonderEkin comes out with a solution on how to do it...

Has anyone got ES File Explorer to work on the Ouya?
The moga controller emu seems to have stopped working for me. It still shows as paired and connected in Pivot, but I get nothing when I try to use it with a game that's checked off in the app list. The controller works fine as a reg Ouya controller. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the mod collection and pivot, manually deleted collection4ouya data, enabled/disabled everything, etc.
Anybody have the same issue/solution?

Yes, try older version of 3.x
I don't know exactly what version I use, but try some older release.
I rooted my OUYA w/ the apk (no pc version) which worked great. I then installed this mod collection to get the google play store. The install went fine, but I'm having issues with "com.google.android.gsf.login" has stopped and the google play store won't actually open. I was able to initially launch it like some other users above and put in my google account info, but it force closed and has never opened since. I tried turning off the"google play store mod" and rebooting and turning it back on several times but i can't get anything to work. I keep getting pop ups now for processes stopping and I am unable to remove the play store. Any ideas?
well .. try to factory reset maybe
.. and ..- root ouya
- install xposedframework
- install mod collection .. activate play store hack .. install playstore ..
- open xposed .. go to module tab .. activate the module by touch pad
- reboot ..
- login to google play
Make sure the module is ticked in Xposed (use the touch pad to select the check box). This fixed my problem.

Okay I made a little more progress tonight. I stupidly forgot to install the xposed framework all, lol. Once I installed it I am able to now open the play store but when it first opens it says there is no connection and so I hit the retry button and it loads for a few seconds then said that connection timed out. Anyone know what I should do next?

yes, i am...i've been having this issue since collection for OUYA 5.0 and even with 5.1 it still does it, what works for me is to re-root using the Root for Ouya tool and not updating my SU seems to work for me or after you re-root just go into the ouya collection mod and deactivate the moga controller mod and restart, after it boots go back into the mod and re-activate the Moga controller mod and it should be working again, also the Disable Auto Update don't work, i've gotten 3 updates even with the Auto Update mod enabled...

Sounds like Xposed doesn't work with the latest firmware 771 then? There doesn't seem to be any reason yet to move on from StockPlus then.
i still get random crashes but able to launch Play store now after clear data and reboots. Play services crashes and YouTube app is stuck loading, nothing happens
but i can tell you that the only YouTube app that does work on my OUYA is YouTube for TV and it works in HD...
