I had an update today. I had this mod installed but lost root and the play store got uninstalled

I also seem to be among the few that this did not work for with today's update. After the update was complete I lost su and the Play Store went missing. I had to reapply SU and reinstall the Play Store. Ever since getting everything set up again, the Play Store does work, but I get the message "Unfortuneatly, Google Play service has stopped" on every reboot and occasionally while navigating the store. Never happened before.

Questions for the other members that this mod didn't work for: Is your Ouya a Kickstarter unit? Did you allow su access to the Ouya update when it asked right before rebooting?
Hi robinscp & kronix, are you using the Stock Recovery instead of CWM Recovery?
Thanks.

No. I had cwm recovery.

I think my issue was that when it asked for root after the update downloaded It timed out before I could choose to allow it.

adb shell to OUYA and execute the following command to check your resolution
Code:
cat /sys/devices/tegradc.0/graphics/fb0/mode

I'm gonna run the output debug command.

After running your command Ouya says it's 1280x720p-60 but nothing has happened my output is still cut off.

I really wish I could get this fixed :(.

Yes I do , bty sorry for the spelling , stupid auto correct.

I passed out from exhaustion last night, sorry.

ok open a command prompt from your SDK directory. so in a nutshell if you're on windows 7 go into the SDK folder and Hold Shift right click and select open command prompt here. In your command prompt copy this and paste it into the cmd prompt and hit enter. Make sure Ouya is connected this whole time !

Copy paste and hit enter this first. also actually copy paste don't use keyboard commands.

this will copy the .APK to Ouya.

PHP:
adb push Mod_Collection4Ouya.2.0.apk /sdcard/Mod_Collection4Ouya.2.0.apk
This will install the .Apk

PHP:
adb install -r Mod_Collection4Ouya.2.0.apk

If you don't mind me asking, how does you 720p patch exactly work?

I am curious as I have something I've been working on and am wondering if it is related to the same thing as what you are doing.

Thanks
