If you download this file and put it in your system/use/keylayout/ folder on your phone then reboot it will assign the OUYA controller the same layout as if you were using it on the OUYA. You can also open the kl file as a text document and edit it if you want to change the layout. If you don't format your changes right android will just ignore the kl file on boot though. You can look at generic.kl to get a good idea of all the different actions you can assign. Keys 304-318 are good examples of a controller setup.

Can someone please confirm that is indeed the case or post a valid working solution for getting the playstore on OUYA. I am trying to keep mine as stock as possible so a CM Rom is out of the question.

Yeah I used the same instructions but it didn't work for me either. Play store will pop up real quick when launched, but then closes immediately. I've rebooted countless times but no joy.

I had the same problem. I had to check the play store box in the xpose installer.

You should be able to, but you will probably lose the Play Store. CM11 is the way to go, you won't miss the Ouya Store, and if you do...just search Ouya in the Play Store.

I never miss Ouya store. My ouya is a only media player.It only runs XBMC,but XBMC on CM11 is not as stable as stock rom

Not sure what your setup is, but for me (and nearly everyone else I've seen compare them) XBMC Gotham is waaaay more stable on CM11 than on a Stock Ouya ROM, in fact I've never had a single crash or hang on CM11, and can enjoy high bitrate 1080p video without any issues.

I am using SPMC which is a Froyo build on a rooted stock rom and have never had a problem.

Really? Can CM11 support SPMC? I am now using XBMC13 on ouya. It can output 5.1 sound effect.

There is a safe mode to install CM11?

I don't know what you mean by safe mode, just follow the instructions it's pretty simple. Just like any other ROM, but you need to install latest CWM, then Ouya BootMenu, then CM11 (in that order), so it's technically just like installing a custom ROM twice I suppose...

Is there anyway that the emulate moga capability can be made to work for other devices. I got a nexus 7 2013 and it sucks when a game only supports moga. I dont have the slightest idea what would need to be done. But this capability would be awesome. I'm willing to put in the work if someone can give me some guidance on what needs to be done

Mine works fine using xposed framework version 2.5.1 but I get Google play services and google store errors on 2.6.1
