Just curious, don't you need a usb connected to the Ouya and use certian key combinations.(I cannot remember exactly what they are at this moment) to access recovery? Or do you not need it with this mod?
I've added a "Reboot Recovery" button in the bottom, but you need a usb keyboard to navigate in the recovery mode(even in the stock recovery)

Hi, I was having a problem with a Ouya game from the Ouya store, it was stuttering and audio was also. I had read that if I set the video to 720 it would many times fix it so I went into Mod Collection and turned on the setting dealing with 720p or 1080p and set 720 and that fixed the game.. After playing the game I tried to turn that setting and it won't let. I tried turning it off and rebooting, not rebooting, and turning the tv on and off but every time I went back in to Mod Collection it was turned on. How do I turn it off so it will stay off? Thanks
Did you manage to fix this problem?

I'm currently experiencing the same thing. I've turned on the Force HDMI resolution 720p option and now no matter what I do it wont turn off. The Fix Overscan option wont turn off either. I have tried a reinstall of the application but it didnt seem to help.

I did fix it but I can not remember how exactly. I think I had to uninstall the app then reboot the Ouya and then reinstall.

Yeah I've tried that and no joy. I also just doubled checked that I'm still rooted and that checks out also.

Ah well I guess I'll just have to wait until the next official update which will reset everything back to defaults.

Hi, I've just changed some code, please download the updated Mod and see if you can disable the overscan setting or not.
Thanks.

Still having the same issue with force resolution fix, forcing resolution seems to do nothing! Cpu-Z always reporting 1920x1080.

Overscan fix does make the image correctly fit but fonts are too fuzzy and therefore is not a viable option.

Really need to be able to force resolution to something TV can reproduce correctly!

On TV there is of course no overscan, fit or any aspect option except a 16:9 or 4:3 size change!

Hello,

I followed your guide (and the easy Root) thanks. I wanted to force HDMI to 720p, which I did.
I also tried the Google Play Store Mod, once it went off to the download link, and after it downloaded the file (cant rember name PS4???) it got a error saying that the File Size did not match? I guess your MOD is expecting the PS4??? file to be a certain size?

Cheers.

Download it from here and push the ps4ouya.zip to /sdcard/Download

Great great great mod.. the only thing that hasn't yet worked for me is the CWM install from the mod. Rebooting into recovery gives me the OUYA with the "!". everything else is jelly tho.. awesome work! :good:

I am rooted and have su and busybox and your mod installed and I still have the Xpose installer. I want to update to Ouya's latest 409 firmware update? I tried disabling "preserve su and cwm" but after downloading the update and Ouya rebooting it takes me to the OUYA page with the red !. After it reboots again it ask if I want to give Ouya framework superuser permission and I let it. But, the update doesn't seemed to have worked because the UI looks the same and I check the console info and it shows I am still on the 347 version. So, what do I need to do to be able to install the update? It's not like I really want to update but I want to be ready when and if they enable the external usb.
