Unfortunately it doesn't work on my xiaomi mi6 on MIUI 9 7.1.1, but it does work on my OnePlus 3t android 7.1.1 :/ Other modules are working on the mi6 btw. Can you look what could cause the problem? The xposed log doesn't show any error.

Hello,
Isn't there a way to make a simple Lucky patcher patch for the NSFW mod or even a modded APK (Since my OP3T gets uncertified as soon as I install Xposed...).

You've got to keep in mind that you're using the buggy unofficial version of Xposed. MIUI is known to have issues with it too.

Someone could probably modify the app. I personally wouldn't want to keep patching it every time there's an update though.

Forgot to add in my last post : "a Magisk mod would be great also. I'm going to try to do that by myself. Though I'm not a genius developer (yet)".

Edit : not enough time to work on it with all the stuff I have to do for the Uni.

So does this mod just remove the 'safe' parameter and change the 'client' parameter to 'chrome'?
I no longer have a device that supports xposed and I'm attempting to patch the Gboard APK but it doesn't seem to be working...

You've got to replace the whole user agent string, remove "&safe=high" and change all 3 client strings to something else.

Guy who needs help

Hey ImaDev,
So a rather complete opposite to what you created- I am trying to find a way to completely porn proof my phone. Ive finally been able to find software to block apps I dont need, loaded a safe browser, and have a buddy who holds the keys restricting me from making changes :p Porn has been a part of my life for the past 20 years, reeking havoc. I know it is not a problem for everyone, but there is a LARGE group trying to block it from their own lives/the lives of their children.

Problem-
The Gboard keyboard is still a place I can find nsfw/porn gifs (minimal though. I'd have to search for an hour to pull just a small handful :p). It's actually the only place on my phone now I can find porn! So I'm getting SO CLOSE!

Solution/Request!
You are obviously a pretty damn smart guy to have what seems like the ONLY module that makes changes to Gboard (from what I've seen... maybe theres others, I dont know).
Can you please make a module that either removes the gif function, stops the animation, or pulls nothing for search results? (Or if there is any other way you can think of)

Thank you so much for your time.

Open up the Xposed installer and check the logs. You might see errors.

As long as you're using the latest version of Xposed this should work for everyone. All you need to do is click on "GIF" and enter a search term.

Thanks for reply but unfortunately no error logs. Maybe I try to check that later

Dope mod, unfortunately only works with Xposed so passing safetynet is impossible. I read a post earlier about a magisk version but it was abandoned. So is it possible to do this directly by editing files in the Gboard folder?

Could you possibly let us know what exactly we have to do? I'd love to just mod the gboard apk to have this done since Xposed is not out for SDK 26 yet.

EDIT: Looking at your code I can see where you replace the user-agent string with "Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; Nexus 7 Build/MOB30X) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Mobile Safari/537.36". Just trying to find out where that is in the Gboard files. Also I used grep on the decompiled Gboard apk and found no instances of "&safe=high". Looking further into this.

EDIT 2: I believe I just found everything I need to edit. Changed the user agent string and the others now. Recompiling and will let everyone know if it works.

So I've gotten it to compile and install but completely forgot about Google's signature check. Not sure if I will actually be able to make this work.

I know my request doesn't have anything to do with the current module's feature, but the module's name is nsfw gboard, so i do think that my request is still relevant. Is it possible to add features that will enable the users to open a certain app in incognito mode? Currently the gboard only use incognito mode with a few app that specifically enable the feature(chrome incognito and firefox beta private mode etc), but i'm looking for ways to enable it in other apps. I guess the simplest solution would be a manual NSFW toggle.

    About:
Google's Gboard won't let you search for NSFW GIFs, but this Xposed module changes that.

    Requirements:
    - Xposed Framework
    - Gboard

    NSFW Gboard v1.4.2

This release supports Gboard 9.3.8.306379758 and newer.

    http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.imadev.nsfw

I had to rewrite the module to support the newer versions of Gboard. It wasn't easy due to all of the changes that the Gboard devs made, but hopefully it'll remain working for a while.

If the module stops working again due to major changes then I might not bother to fix it as it's getting a little tedious now. It also doesn't help that Xposed's popularity has declined in recent years and donations are scarce.

I am not sure. I stop use this module, because xposed brokes GPay.
Use EdXposed Manager v4.5.7, EdXposed YAHFA v0.5.0.0 or v0.4.6.3 and Riru Core v21.2. Then just go into EdXposed's settings, enable app list mode and toggle the option to pass SafetyNet. Reboot, give it a minute and then check your SafetyNet status. It should pass :)

Avoid using v0.5.0.0 of the SandHook framework as that'll log some FileNotFoundException errors. They can safely be ignored, although I recommend using YAHFA instead.

I don't get the sense of this module..
Can you give me like an example how to use it?

Think of it like Google images with safe search turned off. The search results are uncensored, so you get access to things like adult themed GIFs.

I believe GIF search currently works with Google Messenger, Hangouts and Allo. I'm sure that there will be more apps to support it shortly too.

I'm currently waiting for a new phone to be delivered. Once it's rooted and I have everything setup I'll try to fix the issue :)

I'll see if I can update the module to support newer versions. Hopefully it's a simple fix and Google hasn't completely changed everything.
