I am on the latest LOS, is MGC_5.2.022_1.0.apk and CameraApi Enabler enough to make the GCam work? Or is some apk from Magisk required?

Now @Arnova8G2 's Pixel2Mod V8 is able to use ZSL+JPG+RAW sometimes. Color issue seems fixed. But it's not as stable as BSG and often fail to take photo.
Thanks for the hint, for me it worked flawless until now.

Here's a small guide:
1. Enable Camera2Api This is already done by Mi6AiO or Mix2AiO modules below.
2. In Magisk add HAL3 enabler (in repo, optional i think), HEVC+SM_GC_OP3&3T_and_OP5-v3.1 and Mi6 All In One v1.5 Lite for 8.4.19 (for [email protected] slomo)
3. Install above mentioned Pixel2Mod V8, its interface and features are much improved than that of BSGs MGC_5.2.022_1.0.apk

Usage:
In newly installed Gcam set Auto-Exposure to "Increase exp. to 4", blur resolution to medium (own preferance), in Advanced -> HDR+ to Medium or higher, depending on your possible shutter time, RAW "On" only if needed (cameras gallery is bugged due to raw images until an app closure) and all Portrait settings to "On".
HDR+ advanced now shoots more images, slowing down shutter speed but increasing quality.

For normal video I suggest using stock camera as the OP3 HEVC / H265 module doesn't effect Gcam with/without camcorder.h265 (I hope @Arnova8G2 can fix this), otherwise set camera.shot_tracking in GCam developer options, for automatically correcting exposure during video.

For slow motion stock camera crashes for me now (I narrowed it down to the HEVC module), in Gcam [email protected] works, according to this post [email protected] should work with Mi6 All In One v1.5 but when installing the lite version for 9.x I get a bootloop (I am on MIUI10 EU 8.6.14). Maybe @aarwwefdds can advise what has to be done for that.
Edit: Mi6 AiO v1.5 for 8.4.19 works, so does [email protected] (only in Gcam)
This module as well as the Mi A1 Gcam Mod (search in repo) also claims to enable HEVC AND EIS, has someone positive experiences? Edit: For me both modules didn't affect HEVC/EIS in stock or Gcam

For EIS there seems to be no working implementation I think, build.prop doesn't seem to work with stock/Gcam and the modules neither. At least I can't notice any difference.

Well. I have a modified version of "MI6 All in One". Maybe you can try this but take the risk youself.

This one will:
Enable C2API
Slowmotion in 1080p

Attempt fix(not sure if it works or not):
Audio quality in recording
Audio volume in snapchat.(credit to @ssojyeti2)
EIS

Don't forget disable the conflict module.

I'm using ARCore 0.91. But I'm looking for ARCore1.x in MIX2, so far no luck.

Thx for sharing, audio quality seems to be the same, at least according to MediaInfo the bitrate is the same, the xml changes have no effect. Can't tell about EIS, I think there's no difference.
Maybe you can try to put this and this into a magisk module.

Actually I can see bitrate changed in my MIX2, with gcam recording

If you are using BSG's mod you probably need to enable camcorder.codec in gcam developer setting.

There is one thing I have to note. After install those apk. Be sure you run the AR sticker at least once(let it crash) before you flash the zip in twrp, otherwise the arcore won't has permission to access the database because of SElinux.
