@cmvienneau Hey there, thinking its time I updated my Hboot. Currently....Hboot 2.19, S-Off & Unlocked.

Just to confirm that flashing this will give me the new partition layout?
Will my Bootloader be locked or unlocked?
Also, would i be better to wipe cache (fastboot erase cache) at the start of this?

Noob question i know, but any help would be appreciated

Cheers

ok cheers, downloading firmware now..once 'ive done that ill give your modded Hboot a go. thanks

Before i flash, just for clarification.....my cid is HTC_001 So will your firmware zip be ok? as i thought the firmware updates was region specific and the cid had to match

**update** got supercid 11111111

***update 2***

Forget ALL of the above

Flashed your Hboot...can confirm Tampered is removed, shows S-on (although i'm S-off) and pink recovery text has gone.

cheers very much:good:

It should work, it did for me. ensure you have a full nandroid first and then try this :
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem rebootRUU (should enter black screen)
fastboot flash zip hboot.zip
then
fastboot reboot-bootloader (to see your new hboot)

**i know the OP states S-off is required, i am s-off... so make sure you are**

I got S-OFF. But I'm not sure about CID. And what means `full nanroid` ?

full nandroid = a full backup (made in recovery) of your phones data in case it all goes T*ts up.

getting supercid is easy enough..
again in fastboot type : fastboot oem writecid 11111111 THEN fastboot reboot-bootloader
(make sure you type 8(eight) 1's)
Thanks for helping out its hard to keep up with all the threads.haha

@cmvienneau - BIG THANK TO YOU FOR THIS MODDED HBOOT.

However, I found that there is one more parametre about CID that is redundant to a STOCK HBOOT.

STOCK HBOOT: https://cloudup.com/iQW_AaXW0Od
vs.
MODDED HBOOT: https://cloudup.com/iJzFzt1URkQ

I am going to go to service for repair and I am really afraid that they will recognize that I did something with the phone.
Because info about CID is not on the common STOCK phones.

Please, can you delete CID info from the screen when HBOOT loads?

Many thanks.

Just change your cid back to stock. Won't hurt nothin.
