Don't know, I don't run a sense ROM. Also its caps sensitive so don't forget about that.


This is more or less for the OP or for anyone who would like to repackage them on their behalf. The effort it takes to make that flashable zip and flash it yourself is much more than just pushing the file yourself.

Well there are 2 apps 1 is in the data app which is

Com.dotmatrix2.apk

And one in priv app called dotmatrix .apk

The one in data is an update from the play store, the one in priv-app is the one you want to replace. Also remove the one in data app, and just know that once HTC updates it again it will break the theme

I've tried this mod in blue and in green and great job. My only question/request is it possible to have this done to the most recent version of Dot View App. I would love to have either the Blue or Green with the option to have a theme(Wallpaper) along with it .

Can the new dotview app be modified with the same mods? I really want to change the text colour to orange or red as it has better visibitliy. any other way t ochange the text colour in dotview?

I doubt it has the magnetic sensor to detect when the case is closed?? As well as you'd need a case made for the phone too

The absence of the magnetic sensor could have been compensated by the proximity sensor and/or the amalgamation of the pseudo metal detector in HOX+. Also, it could have been implemented without the case as well. Just a notification screen with the bit pixels indicating the notifications.

I even tried forcefully installing the HTC Dot view apk on my hox+ but it responded ambiguously. Any mod that could achieve this would have been wonderful. HTC One looks great with it.

You realize if you're asking for a port then you're in the wrong forum? Ask in the One X+ forums.
But I can bet the demand for such a mod isn't that great, so its not worth the effort from developers. Heck I remember the the One X+ and even in its prime the development for that device was minimal. Its a bastard device since it was released the same year as its predecessor.
Have you tried an AOSPA ROM? They have a feature called Peek that is similar to the dot view.

I came here because i coudn't find any relevant stuff regarding dot view. Most of the hox+ users don't even know that this feature exists on HTC One. But yes, my post does seem out of place here.

I'm currently on ARHD by Mike. Havn't heard about Peek but will check it out now that that you've mentioned it.
