Not exactly the same though it would appear (based on flashing both) - baad's v5 seems to change the EQ options, it only has Beats and a new one called HTC Enhance whereas v4 still has Dolby, SRS, No Effects and Beats. Also v5's 4x1 widget has a transparent background and also only enables Beats via headphones whereas v4 has the Beats option available even via phone speaker.

Oh and v4 seems to sound better to me

I have a question: This Mod also works on bluetooth headset (A2DP)? Because I have a Rom Android Revolution,but the Beats Audio does not work with Bluetooth headsets.

It's any better than PowerAmp ver.2 beta ?
I have installed the Android Revolution HD™ 3.6.3 XE room but Power Amp is better than the HTC player.

The best player I had have was Conduits Pocket Player with set DSP on. But they don't make the player for android.

Yes! The Beats Audio is better than PowerAmp, but this is just my opinion.
The problem for me is that Beats system doesn't work with bluetooth of my car.
It only works if I connect the phone with a 3.5 mm jack but it is not very practical.

You don't need this improved version if you using rcmix 3.5 v08, I already told robocik which files to add so its already included in your rom..

take HtcListen.apk from my zip and push it to system/app folder...then you will have all options in htc music.

Maybe it should not or will not work beats over the blutetooth headphone or speaker, because of the beats audio is stood just before the analog device, the speaker or the wired earphone, and so it is not possible delivered through the air which is digital way. But just my opinion. I'm going to try this, doesn't matter if beats cannot delivered through air, but at least retain the functionality of stock equalizer, which is worked for bluetooth.

IMO, beats audio is excellent, not only it has a stronger bass, but all other frequencies, and the most important, you feel the singer or the instrument is played right in front of you.

If possible, can you make a mod for 2.3.4 sense 3.0 ROM?

For the 2.3.4 sense 3 you have the fully functional xe roms which already includes beats mode. As for beats working on bluetooth headphones IM not sure it can work and I don't have a way to check it...

I'm about to upgrade to ARHD 4.1.5 from 3.6.4 and want to install beats v4

update: Just upgraded to 4.1.5 and beats v4 is working fine.

Something that I would like to improved, thank you in advance.

There is a small glitch when using the equalizer, when out of the selection menu and back, the default (Pop) is always selected, although equalize is working for whatever you selected, but it is nice if can be fixed.

Also from my previous post, the albumart size is 380 x 380, can it be stretch to 540 x 540? or 512 x 512 which is the default size downloaded from gracenote.

Add_Beats_Audiov5_by_omerkisoss_repacked has the 540 x 540 size of albumart, but it is impossible to listen to music if you don't plug an earphone, it will keep on saying ...
