Does anyone know how to get the model number of the Moto G using the phone? I went to Settings-About Phone-Model Number and it says "Moto G". It does not say XT103?.

I thought it did at one time but it only tells me Moto G now. I have installed Android 4.4.2

It's often in the baseband version string as well

Also, you can open /system/build.prop and the ro.model.number= string should be there. Es file explorer will explore / without root on this phone, too

Thanks all

The /system/build.prop and Bluetooth showed XT1034. However, the baseband version string had a "1032". I'm going with XT1034.

Still strange to me that the About Phone wouldn't show it under Model Number. Oh well. Thanks again.

The XT1032 is the standard model, so Baseband uses this numbering, the rest that changes in each numbering is dual sim, apps and other things of operators in each region
