Guys, I tested XXLRK here.

Just got a pretty marvelous results here in Brazil! If it wasn't by this annoying Android OS battery draining issue, I'm pretty sure that I would have even more on screen time!

I got 4 and a half hours of on screen time, in a total of almost 23 hours of battery life! Mixing 3G and WiFi only when needed.

Although I'm using an almost clean AOKP instalation and didn't installed all my apps yet, this is still great!

Edit: Of course, internet speed and signal are so good also!

Just found my new favorite modem!

Establishing Battlefield Control... Standby!
Guys,

What I must do to creat a ZIP file to install a modem using CWM? I need copy all files structure from any modem ZIP file and change only "modem.bin" to the one I want to creat or this will not work?
You only need to replace a modem.bin inside an existing modem zip with the one you want.

That's pretty sweet battery life right there!
Which rom and kernel are you using ?
There was a fix for high android os usage (wlan_rx_wake mostly) in CM9 kernels and it's derivatives. Let me know if you need more info.

I'm using AOKP 40.1 and it's default kernel. Recently, when I flashed those new daily CM9 kernels, my capacitive buttons where turning on when touched, even disabling i'ts lights option insise ROM Control, and even disabling capacitive buttons using CWM. Maybe the new ones have no issues about this!

Anyway, this Android OS draining issue things only occurs sometimes, but I would appreciate more info! Thanks!

hye guys..

what is the best modem for Malaysia & best wifi signal ?

tq

Just relax about WiFi signal, as modem.bin file will not make this better or worse. Just check about your phone and internet signal!

About your region, I'm not sure, but modems starting with "XX" (US and Europe) generally are great everywhere, but give more attention to the asian versions, as you probably can expect better results, as they are "designed" for your absolutely great region!

Cheers from Brazil!
