did u extract out the modem.bin and flash? did it boot-up to flash the modem? perhaps you could try again. make sure you have full root also.currently at RR v7 rom with modem N7000XXLR1. Flashed "DXLP5" via mobile ODIN.. when i looked at baseband version it is still N7000XXLR1. any idea?
I'm in the northeast using ATT and just tried 6x modems XXLB2, LP6, LRB, LB1, DDLP4, and DXLC1. I did not see any change in signal strength I stayed at -89dBm and 12asu. My speedtests show large variations but it's probably more because of the time of day i.e. first few tests were at 2pm and I was getting 114ms/518kbps/482kbps and at 3am i'm getting 140/2614/1064. Honestly, ATT reception is terrible here and I don't think changing modems has had any effect at all.Link works great for me!
What do you att / USA users use for your modems?

No, it doesn't matter what rom you are on... You can flash any modem you want. Go aheadwhen installing modems, does it matter what rom/base i'm running?
like are there samsung only modems, or like cm9 only ones.
or do they all work with each other?
never flashed a modem before...
just tryna be safe.
running PA 0.5 btw.
Bro, I'm using DXLR1, & its working great. DL is a few posts above.any modem recommendations by Singapore users here?
