Modem is from KA5 & I have tested it & it DOES work.

And why not? They DO have the new and improved (or what I like to call "How they should have made it in the first place..") Vibrant on the way. We will have to wait patiently while they scramble to put 2.2 on it. (Which is already almost outdated and the phone isnt even out yet. Why not Gingerbread? God I hate Samsung in every way)

I second that. While I do get 3g at work, it's usually only around 600kbps down. After flashing this modem, I got about half that (up was the same). I will see what I get at home, which is normally around 3-5Mbps, but I'll probably go back to a JLx modem.

Same result for me as well. Went back to the "on crack" JL5 modem.

I get great signal over JL5, JL5 did not work good for me.
