Hi!

I am just a softwaredeveloper who created an account here in this board in order to get in contact with some people. I translated ROM parts for chefs, shared ideas and tried to help other people with their questions.

Yesterday when proposing an idea for a new ROM i linked to an application in another forum - it turned out to be a patched version (warez). The link was correctly removed by an admin (without contacting me - if i hadn't checked the thread i may never realised) - thats ok. I dont want to start a discussion about warez, cooking ROMs, the nature of this board or whatever.

I corrected the link to the original authors website and after that i got banned from the board. Nice. The mod didn't contact me about my mistake before with the link (hey - maybe forum rules should be worked out more precicely and put in the header / footer of the website?). The mod didn't check the new link but banned me just without reason. I contacted the administrator and got no response.

Hey - if this is a misunderstandig, then unban me and a short sorry will do it. If you just dont want me in that board for any reason, then tell me and delete my account, posts and personal info.

If what you say is correct then the Mod should reconsider.
All the foul language and personal attacks seems acceptable.
I think that the standard of co ntrol lacks consistancy.
Comon Mods be fair, firm and consistant.IMHO

Hi! Sorry for the late answer...

Yes i got an explanation and some apology too - it seemed to be a misunderstanding because 2 senior members reported the link as "bad" but it wasn't... and the mod didnt doublecheck it himself. I hope in future banning will be done more carefully and not just based on "second-hand information"...
