well i like that idea.. shown at the picture..

- something where it holds on to the background
- with the glassy look of the first page
- also the big clock
- smart notifications (sms, emaiil, call)

looks very promising :)
after the first working version will be released, we will work on a more complex version also with notifications etc... just have patience =)

Excuse my ignorance - but whats the difference between this and S2U2?
if you'd read thread title more properly you wouldn't have asked :p
this will be a mod for tf3d, integrated, no extra app, so this will run automatically when tf3d is on.
furthermore, as the post before says: much lighter :)

i appreciate you guys thoguhts.this is what i feel.the htc clock is boring.everone knws it so i dnt want it on the screen.the lock is very commn all phones have it i hav made a x for a xperia.im proud to hav a xperia n m even prouder to develop for tf3d on it.also notifications can be seen on the top bar like usual.so v dnt need to make seperate notifications.so what we got is what i hav posted in the preview..

update on progress
i am taking a long time as i can only spend bout fifteen minutes a day doing this.my univ exam is in ten days n if i dnt clear i hav to sit back for six months whichh is by no means exciting..
a beta may be ready bfor exams..but it depends.however i am now running it ncely in potriate ..i hav to now find out arrangement in landscape and disable softkeys..

cheers
rota

Rota, would a smooth flowing second needle consume/ drain more power? I used to have the P1i and once checked with the author of some software if it was possible to have the second had flowing and he stressed that power drain would be an issue.

I personally think that you should totally forget about this app for now ... you'll have more than 15 minutes a day once the exam is over and all on this forum could keep their phone on standby until you are absolutely free! No point in wasting 6 months of your life for impatient folks like us! :D

Everything is sounding promising. Good work Rota. I for one certainly appreciate the time and effort you've spent on this, but exams are more important. You go focus on them and we'll see you shortly! :D

no paparasee i hav tested the battery and i hav something wierd too tell u.the battery lasts longer..hmnn ill tel u y
usually when someone has to write a program for a seconds hand they write it like this
check for change in seconds.tick.check for change.tick.check.tick
that way it juices the batery
what iv done is check for change in MINUTE hand.rotate in sixty seconds three sixty degress.check after finishing rotating.rootate again.soo batery is better of.as we lock the phone i shut of the htc clock and slider.so again less batry usage.soo we land up having a larger batry life by about an hour or two hours.

I Wonder y this project came up so clocse to my exams.i develop this when m tired of slogging..

il post new pics of the real thing tomoro.right now i just need to crash..yawn..crash..

I totally agree, I've just recently been though exams (finishing university/college). I'm sure most people would understand a slight delay :)
