[modification]wallpaper in start menue(programs tab)..finally

Hey people,
Another long awaited modification



Change that boring old grey wallpaper in the start menue.(the programs page)

just install the cab
FOR SIMPLE--this means ur not using anything i have ever made till today

to change the wallpaper to ur own.
copy the file 4FC03967_manila from ur windows folder after installing and put anything in place of it.the usual 512 X 512 size image,



WORKS ON SMABERG TOUCH X ROMS.
ALL TOUCH IT ROMS.
HAVENT TESTED ON VALKYRIE

This wont work on TOUCH IT 10.4.HE USES THE TOPAZ FILES AND I DONT HAVE THE TIME RIGHT NOW TO MAKE A TOPAZ VERSION.I HAVE EXAMS RIGHT NOW.

THE USUAL DONATE IF YOU WANT!!

Yeah, it's nice. Are you going to increase resolution on the next one? Being able to use 800x800 would be nice, so it could fit in landscape as well.

Or perhaps another picture in landscape, like you did with the panoramic?

sorry to ask,

but do u mean i just have to rename my jpeg to this this name : 4FC03967_manila.jpg ?

coz i replaced the original 4FC03967_manila with a picture that i removed the .jpg at the end to become a normal file but it wont work..

thx in advance

oh no..i mean u have to editit the way we edit manila files.using manila editr or m9editor.see angelusz's tutorial
search for 'skinning manila the compendum' and u will find a nice tute there.its by member angelusz
its very simle by the way!!

umn..tf3d doesnt let us put images of res more than five one two by five one two..but i can write a small lua script to change the size of image when in landscapet o fit.plus another image in landscape is no problem at all!!!

I have installed the Rotastrain Programs wallpaper simple.cab and it works great! Thanks Rotastrain.
(I can see the ocean image in the TF3d start menu).
However if I try to make the 4FC03967_manila on my own with Manila editor and I replace the installed manila file with my created version and I select overwrite, the start menu displays a white background after soft reset.

I have attached the manila file here, it looks goodin Manila editor preview, resolution is 512x512 and I have tried all 3 header options with all the same result.

What am I doing wrong?
