If you're in may security patch which steps are necessary to install this kernel? In the main posts says only por march security patch. Thanks

Updated version of the kernel will be available soon
Ok thanks. I've just received this watch used but in good shape and I must say AW is really sluggish compared to AW 1.5 in my original squared g watch. The watch is really beautiful, specially compared to the squared one

Works better, almost like 2 cores kernel.

I really have to disagree. I've been using the update for about a week, and my GWR is just as slow as ever. Maybe you're using a simpler watchface now than you were then, as I've found that makes a difference. I still find the watch barely usable, and I can't wait for these kernels to be updated to work with the update

Did you do a factory reset after installing the update? I'm using a watchface with 3 complications and it's pretty usable.

I too found that watchfaces have a huge effect on the performance.
I used to use an animated watchface which would basically cause the watch to grind to a halt every so often.
Now I use a really simple one and it's noticeably faster - I'd dare say several times faster.

it's a downgrade if I have to use a simple watchface. I've been using the Neo watchface on AW1.5 and it's been great. now on AW2.0 (without the dual-core kernel) it works like trash. If they force us to use simplier watchfaces then it's definitely step in the wrong direction.

as a sidenote, any of you use facebook? if so, did you notice how tideous it is to answer with voice reply? it's literally easier to pull the phone from your pocket and do it there.. you gotta enter the notification, pull up the 'answer' sheet, then go to 'voice call' and finally choose the microphone icon..... waay to many actions need to be taken in order to reply to a message. I really liked it in AW1.5.

I installed Skin1980's ROM and kernel and I can't believe the difference compared to stock, even with animated watch faces. Stock AW 2.0 in my opinion is barely useable. Looking forward to the May update.

Thanks a lot. Yesterday I just downgraded to 1.5 in order to compare performance and battery life with my original g watch.

Is AW 2 working as smooth as 1.5 with this kernel mod? If that, I'll take the plunge and reflash the last version again

Thanks for your work!

Hi, could you please upload a modified kernel for the NXG47C version? Or can I use the NXH19X version without any problem? Thanks

EDIT: Nevermind, just updated to the latest version :good:

After flashing new kernel, my watch shows battery level at 50%. Even during charging level stays on 50%.
Ok, never mind - it was a watch issue, not a kernel. Putting it on the charger when turned off fixed the problem.

Please remove 4 core mod on boot. The watches turns off if it's not charging. After switching on 2 cores, after loading, everything works fine.

the problem is not the watch booting up with 4 cores, but your old battery that cant supply the required energy to do so...
I had issues with my watch being unable to boot off the cradle until I replaced my watch's battery...
