Hi all!
I still use this older Oreo ROM, so i tinkered with "thermal-engine.config" and thos alowing device to maintain frequencies bit longer.
Pros:
- Nice for benchmarking
- More snappy until it reaches set temperatures which were raised + 5C for throttling
- Should wotk with all stock OREO roms
Cons:
- Probably worst battery life
first day using it
- Phone gets warmer when gaming / benching
Path: /system/vendor/etc/thermal-engine.config
PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP OF ORIGINAL FILE.
BETTER STILL MAKE TWRP BACKUP ( THIS IS THE RIGHT WAY)
IF YOU LIVE IN EXTREME HOT AREAS PLEASE RECONSIDER MODIFYING
As this is considered TRIAL please post results so i can see what u get, meanwhile ill test this one and maybe raise a bar some more
p.s.: Thanks to @RyTekk from Xperia Z5 times on his post way back, when phones had giant heatpipes and still reached sun temperatures  His post and my tinkering with Z5 helped me seek out and modify XZP files.
