Hi,

Is it possible to modify the carrier aggregation settings on my Sm-G9880?
I use a Taiwan version of the Phone in Austria.
With the CSC BRI i had no Caller ID an no Carrier Aggregation. So i changed the CSC with Samkey to TGY. Now I have Caller ID and carrier Aggregation, but CA is only with Band 3 (1800 mhz) and Band 7 (2600 mhz).
When the Phone is connected to Band 20 (800 mhz) CA is not working with other Bands like 3 or 7.
What can i do to activate CA with Band 20?
Can someone edit the Settings?

Thanks for helping.

Hallo.

type *#0011# to see with which band you are connected.
Since i changed my CSC to TGY i have CA. Before i had no 4g+, only 4g.
Now i have 4g+ but only with band 3 and band 7.

Hi

I am also from Austria. With my SM-G9810 on TGY
in the A1 network, I don't get carrier aggregation in my region.
With my S10 Exynos, CA is active on 3 + 3. Which network provider are you at?

Kind regards

hi,
My provider is also A1.
I have CA in Vienna with A1 but only with Band 3 and Band 7.
I tried now a S20 Ultra with Exynos SoC and with the Exynos i have CA with Band 20 and Band 7 which is sometimes faster.
Is VoLTE on your phone working?

Regards

I have been looking for a solution to this problem for 3 weeks. Unfortunately I could not find anything on the Internet yet.
Is there a chance that something will change in a future update? I would hate to do without carrier aggregation.
Up to this point I am more than satisfied with the SM-G9810.

Both of them work for me, VoLTE and VoWIFI.

Kind regards

i hope there will be a solution in the future.
I love my snapdragon device and everything works perfect.
I think the modify of the CSC to allow CA with Band 20 is not a big deal for a developer.
I hope someone will help us soon. As i know this must be also in Germany a problem because they use also Band 20 like us in Austria.

With Samkey it is not possible to change the CSC to CHC.
I tried it two times but it doesn't change it.
I also tried to update the phone with Odin to the Chinese Rom, but also it was not working. I get all the time an error.
Has someone change the CSC to CHC?
Is there a difference to TGY?
