Mods for tf3d2[Panoramic Background v3.0]

its a pity its not working on ur x1 it works on all others x1 on all other roms perfectly do a hard reset and it may work for i.

installed it on a clean rom (just out of hard reset)
but it's ok i will manage it to work
just need some time for it

just hard reseted to 7.1 and tested works brilliantly...

Some philosophy

If we have two identical machines.And we run two identical softwares.And it works on one and doesnt on the other.
By logic and common sense it means
Theres something wrong wid the MACHINE...

I hope it works for you..I dont no y it will work on 3000 others n not urs..
maybe u have installed som softwar that clashes wid it..neways all da best...

BUT JUST TO CLEAR..
TESTED ON itje 7.1 AND IT WORKS LIKE A STAR....

is know that X1 can see very clear image. is there a way to make the background clearer?

I think why lot of people can't get it to work is that they don't have sufficient skinning\manila editing skills.....so people before complaining its not working try to read around a bit specially at the cfc gui thread...that's only my advice though !!

It personally works for me, question is though....no way we could increase the resolution a bit ....cause really the idea is nice.....but you can't get any wallpaper to look good so small

Finally we get someone who woke up the themes and skinnig section a bit !!
for xperia we have plenty of skinners that don't want to share anth !!
but you are really gr8 and congrats at the bg for each tab....though i won't use it most probably, i'll have to reckon you are a really skilled dude !!

- When sliding through tabs, the background isn't darkened anymore, making it hard to (and messing up) the text for the different tabs you slide over, in the center of the screen.

If you're able to fix those things, it'd be awesome!

I've changed it to my own picture now and I feel inclined to add one more request:

-Please increase the resolution.

Although I can imagine it would slow down TF3D too much if the resolution goes too high, right now, I can't get any of my images to look good.

What size of pictures are supported? I tried it but my background is just like a solid gray.

I figured it out.... I might have done it wrong, (even though m9editor showed the picture in the file)

I kept the resolution at 512x238, the png it uses is 512x512 and I scaled down my images to 512 by (something smaller than 512) but I would get a pure gray background.

It seems you have to keep it at 512x238 with the bottom of the .png transparent... so you can only paste over where there is a picture.

Here the answers to your questions..

1>Yes the bottom part can be fixed.I will do it and upload it soon

2>If i don't keep the opacity at ninety percent,when you go into a menu:for example:music..the text cannot be seen because the opacity is hundred percent and the background isn't sufficiently whitened.I cant exactly explain it to you.But it has been tried.So yes it is intentional.

3>Yes the background can be darkened.I had removed that cause i thought u may like to see your background while sliding.(It was a request by a member).BUT i will upload a file by which you can darken it

4>Resolution coming up.And i mean high resolution.To see what kind of resolution m talking about please see my post on background for all tabs.Try that to.If you don't like it it just takes a simple uninstall.And tell me your feedback.

My bg4all is compltely different.Let me elaborate:
Al earlier bg4all have wallpaper for the today screen.And another wallpaper for the rest.Like you have right now.
MY BG4ALL is having a wallpaper in each and every tab.With high resolution And a transition between each sliding.I will post a video soon.So you can see it in action
Its one step ahead of all bgforall that have come till now.
And yes it does work within menues.
Y dont u give it a try?

i agree, but I think it's hard to find the perfect balance between quality/speed

This is great, I just installed it, it seems faster then before (saw from your youtube video). Just one question I see a black/white line at Program tab and mail tab. Im guessing thats where the pictures joint, is it possible to get rid of those, is it actually 1 pixel of vertical line or not?

I love it!

There's indeed one vertical line between the second and third part of the image.

How hard would it be for you to slightly enlarge the background, giving it more width?

I saw that you darkened it a bit whilst sliding, I now understand the problem, you can't have it too dark or the sliding effect will be too hard to see.

Is it in any way possible to hide the content of the currently selected tab whilst sliding? That way, you'd see the text and icon for the tabs you currently slide over, but it wouldn't mess with the text and other stuff already on the screen. Also, you wouldn't have to darken it anymore.

That, in my opinion would be the best ever... Awesome job so far though, nice mode9 skills you've got there!
