I've seen that but it doesn't work at all. If i flash the module and go chech immediately, nothing has change.

Try relaunching the Play Store. It worked for me.
I finally opted for the no root version of ReVanced BTW.

I tried with no change
I though about that but want to still be able to use ok google to change song... cause I mainly use it in my car.

What I did to fix this issue was:
1. Press and hold the PlayStore app, press (!), clear cache and data.
2. Relaunch the PlayStore, let it load, then check to see if it still asks for an update. Yes, it does.
3. Flash the module, and ensure it displays your app name in the Magisk description as it runs correctly.
4. Open PlayStore again, voila! The update is gone.

last I knew, this module was obsolete and didn't work anymore. is that not so?
I wonder why there's no thread like this one for the "Detach" magisk module (this one: https://github.com/Magisk-Modules-Repo/Detach).

I'm having a problem with it and nobody is looking at the issues on github, so I was hoping to find help here on XDA. welp.

yes detach5.3 module does not work, "can't access to sql database" kind of error

Good evening, on Android 12 the module works temporarily, both with installation from Magisk and from Termux, but after restarting the phone or cleaning the Play Store data, everything goes back to the way it was before..

Regarding detach, you should NEVER clear the playstore data. If you have to, then immediately re-run any detach system.

yes, I understood this, the problem is that everything goes back to the same way

Dunno what is the prob but the module works normaly on Android 12 OneUI 4.1 (s10e).

with the Detach module (not the one of this thread) I have the same problem, apps reappear in the updates anyway. and I've even scheduled the detach command to run every hour, which makes it even more odd.
the scheduling is done via the DJS module, if it matters.

Hello, don't know why, but I have problem detaching LG Health app from play store. I even deleted it from system and installed it as user apk, still didn't work. I'm using Android 8, Detach v5.3 installed from Magisk Downloads (still have downloads section as i'm on magisk 20.4 for more reasons). Anyone faced similar issue?

Do you have Tasker? I'm running a profile which helps immense. I attached the profile in this post so you can import it. I hope it includes the task. If not let me know. I found the code somewhere here in this thread I think. It checks if there are new updates on the playstore and restarts the detach module.

After implementation of the profile I never saw again my 'blacklisted' apps under updates.

I'm running version 3.12

Then you only have to adjust the path to your detach.zip file in the task.

It should run the task when detach realizes that be updated available are. But this is but it's not 100 reliable. So I added s profile euch every 12 hours run the task. If you don't want to see the notification you can disable it within the task.

Actually, yes.

Is this the first time you used detach?
If not: It may have to do with the .cfg file.

My solution (only working solution for my phone) was to reflash and reroot my phone and apply detach all new

@Ladack Which Android version do you have? I'm on Android 13 and I'm having the same problem.

Update: I'm not experiencing the problem any more with latest detach3. Youtube can still be updated when I seek for the youtube app in play store, but it isn't listed in updatable programs
