Excellent job! Thank you! The lack of this feature has kept me from staying on many ROMs. I can't believe that I just did a Google search for this function, only to find you just released it the day before. Thank you my friend! I have been wishing for this simple mod for a long time.

Sent from my SM-G900V using XDA Labs

Any chance to get this working on other roms? Thanks
Unfortunately due to my module just changing a prop,it requires that the code for the grid recents layout and the prop itself to be already included into the rom itself so there's nothing much i can do for OEM Roms which exclude either the layout or the prop itself (ive heard it works on some OEM Roms but don't remember which ones exactly),my module is mostly designed for AOSP or Roms Based on it (Los,rr,Aosip etc...)

I was wondering if there's a way you can make a module of the omniswitch recent menu. There's a few versions on Xda but I'm not sure exactly which version to send you to look at and which version would run on my phone. Apparently it can be ran on any rom from Nougat to Oreo. This would be great and very much appreciated.

Is omniswitch that app that you install in the system partition to get the omni recents? Because if that's the case i can totally make a module once i find the mod or if you could link it to me that'd be great too,if i find it i should be done by today and on the magisk repo hopefully by tomorrow (ill post here first tho so you can try it out)

They all may have something you need but the last one discusses magisk. Thanks so much for this. Hopefully you can make it work for nougat and Oreo on various roms. Good luck.

Could you try and work together to come up with a Magisk Module of omniswitch that can work on any rom for nougat and Oreo please that could replace the current recent apps menu by hitting the recent button? Thanks
Unfortunately launching omniswitch using the recents button is out of the capabilities of magisk and would require an xposed module to achieve something like it

the module is good but a little uncomfortable to close applications have to be giving on the X button or close all applications

Well that's kinda out of my control that's just how google designed the grid recents,my module just enables it

If you're on pie try using the quickswitch magisk module, install it,reboot and open the quickswitch app and set the system ui as the recents provider then reboot

I'll try it right after work. Sir, you might just be my newest hero! :good: :D Thank you!
