I flash fresh SBF and full wipe from stok, but no go, i got boot loop...

Same here only bootloop, coming strait from stock with full wipe and everything.

As you have discovered, CWM and Nandroid are in Chinese:

1: reboot
2: install update.zip from sdcard
3: wipe data/cache
4: wipe cache only
5: install zip from sd-card
6: nandroid menu
6a: backup whole system
6b: backup certain parts?
6c: restore backups?
6d: restore backups? whats the difference between these two?
7: mount and format
8: advanced and debugging menu (wipe dalvik etc)
9: shut down
10: does nothing

Does anybody know where I can find Advanced Recovery?

Had the same problem, fixed it:
First I followed these instructions. Working links are a couple of pages in:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1595013
Then I installed 2nd Init.
Then I followed the instructions which are on this front page.

@Stefan Braun: This ROM does not work with WIFI-channel 13. CM10 did. I found my network after switching the router to channel 13.
Thanks anyways, great ROM!

ROM up and running, i used attached zip to wipe, and after that flash rom.
Wipe from stock and cwm recovery did not work well.
Great rom very very fast...:good:

Finally got it to work. really looks good and fast. Will test for a few days and see how it runs as daily use rom.

How come there is duplicate dialer, contacts, camera and file explorer?

Cpu spy plus does not work on this rom. Maybe in next update? Other then that i am amazed.

After installing your 18th Jan rom on defy my CWM has changed language to chinese..
Can you please fix this in the next update...

A little summary of things to be adressed: duplicate apps, cpu spy compatability and also it seems that changing themes does nothing. All and all a very smooth and snappy rom. Keep up the good work.

What applications are included? Does it come with Defy Baseband Switcher installed?

Also, can you add the date of the build to the downloaded file name, or some kind of version number?

Updated to 23.01. Got right into Bootloader with Error: A5,70,00,00,23

Installed again, this time from scratch using fresh SBF. Same error.

i installed this rom and now i dont have cpu settings in bootmenu, how can i change that? does the vsel is already set? when i change locksreen style to sliding tabs, nothing happens...
